King Tuck clearly carried the Fox News network and its nits ~ilana

Whether full of spleen or in support of Tucker Carlson, the commentariat, as usual, was dead wrong about the effects of his firing on the Fox News network.

The disposable clowns at The Dispatch echoed the gleeful sentiment, coming from the left and the pseudo-right. Posted on Nick Catoggio’s crudely (and cruelly) titled “Boiling Frogs” blog was a number titled “Tuckered Out: Be careful what you wish for.”

Catoggio, formerly of Allahpundit, belched, May 9, that, “On the day Fox News parted ways with Tucker Carlson,” he “doubted …the network would suffer much, if at all, in the 8 p.m. hour. ‘For all the hype about Carlson’s ratings, the truth is that any dogmatic right-wing figure airing at 8 p.m. on Fox News will attract an enormous audience.’”

This reflexive, Freudian “Wish fulfillment”—“the satisfaction of a desire (for Tucker’s demise) through an involuntary thought process”—encapsulates the cowardly gloating Tucker received following his professional garroting by Fox News.

From her self- referential and reverential perch, Megyn Kelly insisted that, just as in her case, the perch (Fox News) would always outlive the anchor (Tucker Carlson). Well, of course. Ms. Kelly would say so. She has plenty cognitive dissonance to reconcile: She is not Tucker Carlson. No sooner had she fled Fox News for more progressive media climes than Tucker stepped into her stilettos—and nobody remembered Kelly.

Before she abandoned her “Kelly File” Fox News show, Ms. Kelly had firmly aligned with members of the Murdoch Media for a Marco Rubio victory. Side by side with lightweights like Dana Perinno, and other egos in the anchor’s chair, Ms. Kelly had made manifest, in February of 2016, that she was hoping someone like Rubio would slay The Donald dragon.

Kelly is a lot smarter than Kayleigh McEnany (whose hard-to-spell names one has always to cut-‘n-paste) and simpleton Lawrence Jones, both of whom have attempted to fill-in on Fox at 8 p.m. Neither, however, is in Tucker’s league. Kelly was also more politically independent than these two tools and others considered for the peerless Tucker’s slot.

Most all at Fox New are party operatives, certainly not one is as nimble intellectually, or has the elemental intellectual curiosity of a Tucker Carlson.

Your columnist’s April 25, live, “HARD TRUTH” podcast, recorded a day after Tucker Carlson’s dismissal, got it right. Tucker, like Trump, we contended, is transformational. Fox was finished (we chuckled). This forecast was echoed in a column whose lead said it all, “Fix News is finished, having just fired their only attraction, Tucker Carlson!” Clearly, if not “finished,” Fox News is sorely diminished. Joy!

I mean, who, pray tell, wants to watch Bret Baier’s “Common Ground” sanctimony—where the neoconservative anchor gloms Democrats and Republicans together? What treacle! MAGA men and women—we’re a “minority” said Asa (Who?) Hutchinson to CNN’s Erin Burnett, on May 30—will only ever reach across the aisle if it is to grab a member of the Treason Class by the scruff.

“Sacking Tucker Carlson has put a dent in Fox News’s ratings,” The Economist finally admitted, on May 16, when the truth could no longer be withheld. The consensus is that, “Fox News is currently down by more than a million viewers per show per night.”

King Tuck clearly carried the network and its nits.

Newsweek puts the loss of viewers during Tucker’s time slot at “50 percent, while the network’s audience among 25- to 54-year-olds had shrunk by two thirds.” On May 5, MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, sibilant riffs and all, was all in with 145,000, among viewers aged 25-54. While Mr. “Carlson’s former 8:00 p.m. ET slot attracted an audience of 90,000.” Tucker’s “final show on Friday, April 21, had [drawn] more than 2.6 million viewers.” He averaged “just over 3 million viewers across 2022.”

A total of two minutes of a cheerful Tucker Carlson on Twitter, come April 26, orienting The Idiocracy to what matters, netted more views at the time of the broadcast—seven million to start—than the sum of all concurrent programming on Faux News, CNN, MSNBC. That Twitter segment now has 85 million views. Unstoppable.

Tucker Carlson is planning to launch a new show on Twitter in the service of unfettered speech and a search for truth. That announcement on Twitter has been viewed  133.1 million times to date.

Rupert Murdoch will be remembered as the Money Man who fired Tucker Carlson and, by so doing, sank his network.

Democrat Party is the part of ‘fear, war and censorship… neocons with woke bobble-heads’  ~Robert F. Kennedy

Tucker like Trump is transformational ~ilana

Fix News is finished, having just fired their only attraction, Tucker Carlson. As a writer who put in years of sustained antiwar writing against Genghis Bush and the neocon coterie—who burned (and consequently burnt-out) as hot as a Babylonian kiln against invasions backed 100 percent by Faux New and its blonde war-porn flank—something just short of total extinction seems a fitting fate for Fox. The foolish firing of their top rated host, and one of the highest-ranking cable news shows in the country, is sure to hasten the death rattle of the War Porn channel.

Evil And Envy

Fox News has thus cemented its unimpeachable credentials as lickspittle of the Republican Party, which it always was until Tucker. Just so there’s no confusion: the Party is exulting in Tucker’s ousting.

The intuitive and likely most base reason for the ouster of Tucker tracks with human nature: evil and envy strive for mediocrity.

The instinct of man is evil from his youth ~Genesis 8:21

Or, in the language of statistics, it’s the regression toward the mean; the quest in America for mediocrity:

“Tocqueville in the 19th century, and Solzhenitsyn in the 20th, noted that conformity of thought is powerfully prevalent among Americans,” observed my friend Clyde Wilson, professor of history at the University of South Carolina and the foremost scholar of John C. Calhoun.

So, too, do the responses from the mediocre media—and I flatter them—where one sees nothing but schadenfreude (“joy derived from the misfortunes of others”), track with the theory of evil and envy.

Fox News is an echo of the Republican Party, which serves the deep, warfare, industry-captured state.

Robert F. Kennedy, on the other hand, is “a choice, not an echo.”

One need not agree with every word Kennedy spoke in a pellucid address announcing for president, almost two hours long, delivered extemporaneously, to grasp that, on the defining issues of our time, almost all of which Kennedy addressed in depth and in detail, Robert F. Kennedy is right and righteous.

Of the welter of words spoken so very beautifully—for a man with a disorder of the vocal cords—Kennedy, Jr. underplayed perhaps two issues and failed to mention but one crucial matter, while delivering a riveting information-dense address, at once deep and philosophical, yet wise and pragmatic, undergirded by historic and constitutional truth. Tactical to boot.

Against The Deep, Warfare, Woke, Industry-Captured State

The overarching impetus of  Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s announcement is this:

Americans live and labor under an illiberal, unconstitutional, oppressive administrative state. Our representatives are meant to make law. How, then, has this vast bureaucracy, captured by globe-straddling industries, acquired tyrannical law-making powers! Most certainly not constitutionally.

Candidate Kennedy astutely connects the corrupt merger of state and corporate power with the events, stateside and abroad; past and present, unfolding around us—from the collapse of the dollar, the murder of the middle-class via Covid crackdowns and lockdowns (courtesy of the pharma-state), to inflation (Federal Reserve Bank), to the sundering of individual and constitutional rights, to war forevermore (in service of the military-industrial-complex against which Dwight Eisenhower and John Quincy forewarned).

State run “corporate feudalism” keeps us sick, disenfranchised, robbed of rights and due process of law; drug addled and always at war.

On second thought, and for now, I retract my implicit insinuation that Kennedy had omitted to address the war on whites and on law-and-order; for he may have opted to do so tactically and indirectly. Kennedy is hardly sanguine about the “garrison and surveillance state” America has become, noting that, “Being an imperium abroad will destroy democracy, turn America into a garrison and surveillance state.” Kennedy’s condemnation and contempt for the fulsome, foul Democratic Party was complete, calling it deliciously the party of “fear, war and censorship… neocons with woke bobble-heads.”

For now, I charitably conclude that this gifted man has simply hit on a way to approach the war on whites and on law-enforcement in a less divisive and direct manner, using proxy issues. Kennedy thus spoke as passionately and deliberately about the impoverished whites of Appalachia—they were as much Kennedy constituents as the poor of Southeast Washington. He promised the poor—and all Kennedy constituents—this:

“I will be president to those people. We are going to take back the country. You give me a piece of ground and a sword I will take back this country, with your help, we will go America first.”

Behind candidate Kennedy, moreover, were aligned the kind of men and women one saw at a Trump rally: middle class and working-class Americans of all races. With a difference: Theirs were fine, sweet, not spiteful, faces. None sported nose rings or pink hair. All faces were etched with untold pain and suffering.

Caveat emptor. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., will need to address the border, as that by-now meaningless phrase goes. He has not. If he cares about the poor of his country, he must convince them that he is not part of the Ted Kennedy Fifth Column, which, in 1965, wrote the multicultural legislation that altered America forever. Kennedy Jr. will need to plug the border down South and, ideally, expel Biden’s legions of foreign invaders. If you are championing the middle-class and the working poor you cannot swamp their country with an unending supply of labor.

Since almost no candidate has spoken as advised here—the Republicans having more or less learned to live with the Biden Border—Robert F. Kennedy is still ahead.

Ukraine: Masterful Philosophical Triangulation

Likewise did Mr. Kennedy approach Ukraine in what was a brilliant bit of philosophical triangulation.

First, Kennedy argued that the “geopolitical machinations” underway in Ukraine were tantamount to regime change. Mr. Kennedy next constructed a political argument against the war in Ukraine so inclusive and all-encompassing that it would appeal to all political factions.

To wit, the war in Ukraine is being peddled as a humanitarian mission. Americans are a humanitarian people. Side by side with that claim are the “geopolitical machinations” to effect regime change in Russia. So, if we are prolonging the war to wear Russia down, in the name of regime change, argues this brilliant litigator, then America is also using Ukraine to create “an abattoir of death” for that country and its young.

That, noted Kennedy with passion and invention, is not humanitarian. QED.

Americans are a militant people. At the same time, they are sentimental to a fault. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s argument against war in Ukraine is tailored to his people, the American People, and thus represents a feat of triangulation. His is not the pure libertarian, Just War, constitutional, anti-war argument, but when have those worked? So let us, then, try a position against war that’ll appeal to every segment of the American people (other than our overlords who art in D.C.).

“As long as our major exports are weapons and war,” he thundered, “we will never have a middle-class in this country.” And, “the principal job of every president is to keep the country out of war.”

RFK might even prove intellectually more nimble than Pat Buchanan on matters war. Both would agree that Pax Americana has brought very little by way of peace with it. But this younger member of America’s political aristocracy must distance himself from the late Ted Kennedy on immigration. Robert F. Kennedy will need to concede that, like war forevermore, an open border is inconsistent with a stable middle-class and upwardly mobile working poor who can strive, not starve.

Grammys 2023: The end of art, techno-porn caterwauling, and indecent exposure masquerading as music; an erogenous-zone centered extravaganza ~ilana

Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Brahms, Bruckner, Debussy, César Franck, Dvorák, Tchaikovsky (Russian), Elgar, Fauré and more—they embody The Best of The West, not the Woke pornographers and perverts, the Covid goons; rap, reparations, and the critical race bile ~ilana

Symbolically, the decaying Empire unveiled some of its most putrefying, pornographic cultural products in the week in which Burt Bacharach, composer of sublime pop-music, departed to the heavens. The beastly bacchanalia unfolded at the 2023 Grammys and the Super Bowel (sic) halftime hump-along, showcasing zero skill, 0 imagination, 0 talent and 0 beauty. Those vaguely familiar with my prose recognize that I’m being charitable.

Unfortunately, conservative commentators minimize the impetus and significance of this cultural foot-and-mouth, superciliously giggling over, and misdiagnosing, it.

The postmodern shift in the culture is positively tidal. But with their good-natured, bemused, crushingly stupid reactions to the most meaningful of events and situations, conservatives normalize, even aid and abet the decay. In this instance, the 2023 Grammys—techno-porn caterwauling, and indecent exposure masquerading as music.

The staple response I refer to are the reliably diffuse and vapid “insights” offered up by The Tucker Carlson Show’s giggly guest, Chadwick Moore.

Why is this perennial conservative confusion so important to correct? For one, because thought mediates action. And fuzzy, foolish thoughts about important matters give rise to fuzzy, foolish actions about important matters.

Chadwick Moore protested the Pfizer sponsored (alleged), Grammy performance of one Sam Smith on the grounds of “satanic panic”; that it was “devil-themed.”

Moore’s other redundant banality was to “reveal” that Smith is a grotesquely ugly transsexual man whose aim is to grab world attention.

You don’t say! As if my lying eyes told me otherwise!

THE ONLY SUBSTANTIVE CONSERVATIVE CASE to make over the Grammys is that it signifies the complete loss of immutable artistic standards. For while artistic taste is subjective and personal; artistic standards are everywhere and always objective.

Nobody looking at, and listening to, the 2023 Grammys should dare talk about beauty—of melody or movement—harmony (as in consonance and counterpoint), chord progression, and a facility with musical instruments, for these were nowhere apparent. Better melodic progression is to be found in “Baa, Baa, Black Sheep” and “Three Blind Mice.”

Nobody watching these erogenous-zone centered extravaganzas, for which the celebrity Idiocracy clapped like clapped-out whores, should dare conclude anything but this:

The Grammys were about the end of art—about the loss of all meritocratic, objective standards in art.

THE TRUE MEANING OF THE WEST is not to be found in the staged acts of ugly exhibitionists and filthy pornographers who bedeck our cultural and sporting events, the likes of loud, lousy Lizzo, a mountain of meritless flesh, and the Sam Smith Sicko—demented degenerates who are all engaged in publicly tolerated indecent exposure and tuneless yelping, that not even the Auto-tune magic software, the “holy grail of recording” technology, can correct.

THE MEANING OF THE WEST is not in this ghastly culture, in which our kids, liberal and conservative, are allowed to wallow, or in our ugly, grubby, tit-for-tat politics.

IT’S NOT in the Woke, postmodern perverts degrading the language, literature, music, art and sciences.

IT’S NOWHERE IN THE COVID CARTEL and its army of goons, medical and bureaucratic, devoid of intelligence and bereft of proficiency in anything but the use of force.

The aforementioned are imposters, interlopers; frauds, freaks and fetishists.

Beethoven is The West. It’s men like Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Brahms, Bruckner, Debussy, César Franck, Dvorák, Tchaikovsky (a Russian homosexual, whose manly music could never be queered), Elgar, Fauré and more—they embody The West. They and the many young performers furthering their work, the work of the Lord, are examples of the best of the West.

“Ode to Joy,” inspired by Friedrich Schiller’s eponymous poem, is but the soundbite in Symphony No. 9. Sublime as it is, “Ode to Joy” is the popular tune in a more magnificent whole.

One should not seek out exclusively the Ode of the Finale—the fourth movement—without assimilating the typically ballsy build-up by Beethoven throughout the preceding Allegro (first movement), scherzo (second movement) and Adagio (third).

MUSIC IS MAN. These men, to be precise.

Like nobody today, Beethoven instantiates this truth in all his Symphonies. Listen to No. 5 here, conducted by the great Herbert von Karajan, and tell me this is not the original headbangers ball.

To share with you, I have a fine performance of “Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125 ‘Choral’ (1824).” It is that of The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Barenboim.

Barenboim’s intensity during the performance and the perfection he wrung so effortlessly from these young, eager musicians—beautiful in face and form, hailing from far-flung countries across the Middle East and North Africa—led me to suspect this setting was more than just a celebrity conductor, one of the greatest, for sure, parachuted in for a night.

Indeed, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra is a product of the vision of Maestro Daniel Barenboim and Edward Said, a Palestinian intellectual. The impetus of their collaboration, I imagine, was to foster peace and transmit immutable beauty through music.

Done.

To speak colloquially, not theologically, neither Allah nor Elohim has ever inspired the transcendence of a Beethoven or a Bach. Christianity begat the glory and genius of Bach and Beethoven. They are The West, not the Woke perverts trying to drown Western glory with no more than pelvic and genital thrusts parading as music.

A sad, but inspirational, anecdote: Beethoven had composed the sublime work, the Ninth, utterly deaf.

Via Britannica:

‘According to one account of the event, the audience applauded thunderously at the conclusion of the performance, but Beethoven, unable to hear the response, continued to face the chorus and orchestra; a singer finally turned him around so that he could see evidence of the affirmation that resounded throughout the hall.’

AND that’s The West, too. Alas, it has become anathema in Neurotic Nation USA to be stoic and heroic like Beethoven.

I shall close with guidance neither fuzzy nor diffuse: Honor Western civilization, not Kanye West: Do it up, parents.

Edgar Allan Poe’s “The System of Dr. Tarr and Prof. Fether” tells of inmates in an asylum who overpower their wardens, tar and feather them, throw them into underground cells, and proceed to have “a jolly season of it” without them. The finer point of Poe’s short story is that, to the objective observer come to visit, there is little to distinguish lunatic from ostensibly sane overlord.

No such risk exists in the case of the deranged Democrats, dreadful curs that they are (with apologies to the canine community).

The Democrats’ cri de coeur? Drain and dry that Rio Grande! Level the land to ease the passage of Central America into North America. Let them come in their millions, no, in their billions. Decriminalize crossings. Disband ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement). Deify DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, for our purposes, illegal alien kids). Deny no asylum claim. Table a marshal plan for Central America. Immigrants are America, only better and more inspiring than her native sons and daughters. “We want more refugees”—so said the nogoodnik who runs my state of Washington into the ground.

Not so long ago I held out hope that ordinary Democrats would be put off by the crude displays coming from the demented, intersectional, social-injustice succubae overcrowding the Democratic Party and its media phalanx. This has not happened. The Democrats have only normalized and streamlined their dystopian operation. This is a party that stands for loosing robbers, rapists, killers and perverts on the land.

And not nearly enough is said about the DemonCrat’s sexual politics.

Twerking tush in front of school kids is indecent exposure. It used to be illegal, certainly and indisputably immoral. There used to be laws prohibiting the wearing of sexual prostheses in public and dangling them in front of others, much less minors. But thanks to the Democrats’ sexual proclivities and politics, we have other-gendered people inflicting their kinks on kids, under the guise of education. The same American children can’t read, write or do arithmetic, but are No. 1 in pornography and Critical Race Theory.

It’s the Democrats’ doing! To the Democrats all this is just orientation day at kindergarten—they have not a bad word to say about turning school children into the captive audience and playthings of perverts and ethnocidally antiwhite agitators, posing as educators.

Invite adult onanism and sexual acting-out into the schools. Break down boundaries of propriety—those between generations, between what is public and what has always been private; between what is proper and improper; legal and illegal: That’s the DemonCrats distilled.

As 2022’s mid-term election campaigns have worn on and are now winding down, it is becoming clear that there is a rising crop of scrappy Republicans willing to put up a fight, rather than just “reach across the aisle,” as has been the perennial custom of our people. They are “not backing down” is how the feistiest of TV talkers, Tucker Carlson, described these America First Republicans. However, “not backing down” is still merely treading water. How about figuratively decapitating your Democrat opponents by painting them, their actions and arguments over 2 years, as diabolical and demonic.

The imperative is to define the Democrats as the deviants they are. Demons. Demented. Yet Republicans, miss the mark and slide into extenuation: They call the Democrats “radicals,” their agenda a “radical one,” when the Democrat party is in fact the party of perverts.

To label Democrats as radicals is to compliment them. I’m a radical reactionary; a radical for free-speech, a radical for property rights, for localism, for individual liberty. See what I mean? The “radical” adjective is not necessarily pejorative.

In politics, especially, rubbish rises to the top. Politicians are born mediocrities. The Democratic Party, in particular, is freighted by trash people. The Party embodies the decadent evil that is end-stage democracy. As much as we’d like to democratize this with respect to gender; it has to be said, moreover, that the Democrats are dominated by demonic females who rage as though permanently on the rag.

Lofty dilettantes the Democrats are not! Why, then, are Republicans not calling them out as the party of sexual-offenders-by-proxy, of violent criminals, outlaws and scofflaws?

The Democrat platform is, after all, one that promises to end Anglo-America, welcome the world, evict the unborn as a constitutionally enshrined right, while sundering the Bill of Rights and reveling in all manner of evil, criminal and carnal.

ILANA AND DAVID VANCE agree: If Republicans used ilana’s characterizations (with full credit); we’d win the country. Discussed on “PM Rishi Sunak Owned By Globalists; Democrats Owned By The Devil,” the HARD TRUTH Rumble podcast. Available on all other platforms.

The topic was “the end of the all-male, all-white cockpit.”

The context: A June 3, 2022 TV episode, in which Fox News personality Tucker Carlson beseeched viewers to look beyond the race and gender of pilots, to his or her competence. “What’s color to do with competence?” he demanded to know.

Mr. Carlson was appealing to the wrong audience.

In America, where woke is ruthlessly propelled by the private-sector, the commercial aviation industry has been itching to replace humble men like Captain Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger, III, with black women (the looks of whom indicate that a good weave, tattooed eyebrows and eyelash extensions are baseline requirements).

Using their employees’ opposition to forced vaccination as a proxy for backbone, moxie and rational thinking—the commercial aviation industry is increasingly shedding very many magnificent, military-trained pilots.

Just so there’s no confusion: Pilots with the right stuff are being selected out of their profession.
Granted, correlation is not causation, but if there is a statistically significant correlation between gender or race and the likelihood one survives a plane flight—well then, one might just want to consider these variables as proxies for safety and survival, however politically impolite it is.

Tucker might want to check the aggregate accident statistics to determine who are the best, safest pilots. By ScienceDirect’s telling, “… females employed by major airlines had significantly higher accident rates than their male counterparts overall.” [Emphasis added.]

To be expected, ScienceDirect then launches a fusillade of excuse-making weasel words to conceal with bafflegab that if you fly with a female, you’re a little less likely to reach your destination. It’s a ghost of a chance, but hey, life matters. Do you want to lose it?

Yes, female pilots have a higher error/accident rate, but never mind that say the Fake Science purveyors; this is only so because they are younger and less experienced. Airlines should make every effort to recruit and retain “experienced” females and manage diversity, they exhort.

Essentially—and while plummeting to his death—the passenger should search his bigoted soul. In addition to letting go of your life; you must release all bigotry. Those thoughts about how race and sex could well correlate with flight safety, and how you wish you had checked the pilot before you took the fatal flight: Let them go. Oh, and by the way, RIP, you sexist, you racist.

The desired outcome is that you fly with a less able pilot, ceteris paribus. This is astonishing, really, for impartial, scientific inquiry is meant to concern itself with facts, yet the authors of “Comparing pilot-error accident rates of male and female airline pilots” conflate and collapse what ought to be two separate categories: The reality of sex-based differences in pilot competence, and the confounding variables (age and experience) on the one hand, and how one might feel about these differences, on the other.

Or, as a rational reader put it:

The article “states in the beginning that females had a higher accident rate, then it states they are about the same as males. So, which is it???”

Pretty much.

I wonder. Does anyone grasp the difference between a veteran of the Air Force versus a “pilot” trained at an affirmative-action, feel-good girlie flight school? It’s life and death.

Remember Capt. “Sully” Sullenberger’s famed “Unable; we’ll be in the Hudson”? His was the very embodiment of “manliness (not a miracle) on the Hudson.” Nothing but cool hands and a mind to match at the controls.

Capt. Sullenberger’s airbus, carrying 155 passengers, had lost the thrust in both engines following a “double bird strike.”

Having been informed of the emergency, Ground Control radioed the captain: “Which runway would you like at Teterboro?”

Capt. Sullenberger to Ground Control: “Unable; we’re going to be in the Hudson.”

Those were the laconic, spare words of the iconic “Sully,” as he calmly prepared to crash land Cactus 1549 in the Hudson River.

With no engine power, flying at a low speed, at low altitude, “over one of the most densely populated areas on the planet,” Captain Sullenberger managed to glide the jet, using its “forward momentum to provide the air flow over the wings,” so as to enable “sufficient lift.”
The river was the only “viable” surface on which to land with a chance of survival. That, Sullenberger had determined after “two and a half minutes into the flight—and just one minute after the birds had hit.”

Who do you want in the cockpit during such an event? Sullenberger, a high- intelligence retired Air Force fighter pilot? Or dreamy Ms. Zakiya Percy and Ms. Cetrena Simmons, to be introduced shortly.

Avoid flying United Airlines, which has started its own flight school, The Aviate Academy. At “least half of the new pilots will be women or people of color. Of the 121 students enrolled so far, about 78 percent are women or nonwhite.”

Republic Airways, likewise, stacks its flight school with pigmentally pleasing faces, who pay to pilot. “Two years and about $100,000” in tuition fees is what qualifies a pilot, protests Zakiya Percy, who is a pilot for UA, and also a psychology major.

By contrast, consider one of the pilots this writer has had the pleasure of “meeting” through this column:

Retired from the military some years back as a naval officer and pilot, my acquaintance had gone to test pilot school in 2005 and spent 9 of a storied 20-year career in the Navy, flight-testing the FA-18 aircraft. He did 4 total overseas deployments, twice in Iraq and twice in Afghanistan. He flew the EA-6B jet aircraft during 3 of these 4 deployments logging 397 carrier landings. His first deployment was in 2002 and last in 2013. The man has a BS in mechanical engineering and a masters in Systems Engineering and was a test pilot for Boeing.

Stack this pilot’s bewildering accomplishments and intelligence—the aircraft is an extension of his body and mind—against Ms. Percy’s, bless her, who is a graduate of a 2-year course run by a corrupt industry, has a degree in psychology and the perfect complexion. Or, against Ms. Cetrena Simmons, 29, who started her pilot training at Republic Airways’ flight school in 2018, and is now piloting planes for the airline.

As Idiocracy’s iconic Dr. Lexus (IQ around 60) would say, “Kickass.”

He’d add reassuringly: “My first wife was ‘tarded; she’s a pilot now. There are plenty tards out there living really kickass lives.”

Nothing completes a man and makes a man as a woman ~ ilana

The male hormonal horror show, as told on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” is almost 2 decades old. It unfolded to very little fanfare in 2006. As this writer first divulged in her column “Manly No More,” the data came courtesy of Dr. Thomas Travison and colleagues at the New England Research Institutes in Watertown, Massachusetts.

American men are indeed losing the stuff that makes them macho.

Wrote Reuters in 2007:

“A new study has found a ‘substantial’ drop in U.S. men’s testosterone levels since the 1980s.” The average levels of the male hormone have been dropping by an astounding 1 percent a year. A 65-year-old in 1987 would have had testosterone levels 15 percent higher than those of a 65-year-old in 2002.

Although the New York Times’ science and medicine reporter now mocks these findings—she likely does so because masculinity has, in the intervening years, been declared toxic and because Tucker refuses to let men be defanged.

The reasons for the reduction in testosterone levels remain unclear. A rise in obesity and a decline in smoking have been suggested, since “testosterone levels are lower among overweight people and smoking increases testosterone levels.”

More reliably, other researchers have implicated estrogen-mimicking chemicals, which leach into the environment from plastics (BPA). I had covered the pioneering work of Dr. Devra Davis on these xenoestrogens in my Canadian column, in 1999. On this front—the pox of plastics—men and women can expect nothing from Republican representatives, who still consider it a conservative creed to fill-the-oceans-with-plastics, kill-everything-that-moves-for-profit, and call on the Third World to be fruitful and multiply, so as to perpetuate this cycle of pillage and pollution.

Conspicuously absent from these reports are the effects on serum testosterone of changes in life experiences over time. These trends are, however, routinely tracked when discussing incidence of this or the other disease or deficiency in distaff America.

Thus, breast cancer is said to be associated with the modern woman’s propensity to delay or forfeit childbearing. Osteoporosis is exacerbated by women’s sedentary routines—they do less weight-bearing work than they used to. And so on.

FEMINIZATION

It is very possible, even likely, that the feminization of society over the past 20 to 30 years is changing males, body and mind. It is very possible that the subliminal stress involved in sublimating one’s essential nature is producing less manly men.

Consider: When they are not twerking tush with transexuals, today’s tykes are required to hack their way through page-turners like One Dad Two Dads Brown Dad Blue Dads. Boyhood today also means BB guns and “bang-bang you’re dead” are banned.

Boys are hardwired for competition; the contemporary school enforces cooperation. Boys like to stand out. But team-work obsessed, mediocre, mostly female school teachers teach them to fade into the background. Boys thrive in more disciplined, structured learning environments; the American school system is synonymous with letting it all hang out.

Sons are more likely to be raised without male mentors, since moms, in the last few decades, are more inclined to divorce (and get custody), never marry, or bear children out of wedlock. The schools have been emptied of manly men and staffed by feminists, mostly lacking in the Y chromosome. Although boys (and girls) require discipline, the rare disciplinarian risks parent-driven litigation.

DEMONIZATION

Boys leave secondary school suffused with a sense of their gender as a repository for society’s ills. As if that’s not bad enough, they soon discover that society privileges girls in tertiary schools and in the workplace. Why, even girls favor girls. Most young women swoon over washed-out, asexual celebrities—cherubic-looking, soft-spoken, “girlie-men,” are replacing deep-voiced, macho men as hot favorites.

Women say they look for partners who are “sweet and sensitive.” If they’re having children with androgynous men who grow bum-fluff for stubble, then perhaps they’re breeding out testosterone.

The smashing success of politically incorrect books such as The Dangerous Book for Boys proves how desperate little boys are to be boys again—the book reintroduced a new generation of youngsters to the joys of catapult-making, knot-tying, stone skimming, astronomy, and such “toxic masculinity”. (Concocting rocket fuel from saltpeter and sugar is not in the book, but is a lot of fun—or so my husband tells me.)

The thought I had offered in 2006 was this:

The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis is a delicate homeostatic feedback system, intricately involved in regulating hormones and stress in men and women. Has it become the axis of evil in the war on men?

A MAN AND A WOMAN

In 2022, I venture these afterthoughts:

There is a documented “sex recession” among American younger men. The biggest reason for young men shunning intimacy is that they “dread a MeToo-style harassment charge.”

In other words, in an atmosphere of sexual moral panic intimacy is becoming less achievable.

Alas, the imagery Mr. Carlson presents in his highly stylized documentary on testosterone is replete with “oiled, shirtless men performing vaguely masculine tasks, like turning over giant tires and throwing a javelin.”

I worry that Tucker Carlson might be encouraging the male equivalent of the solipsistic, me-me narcissism typifying the MeToo movement.

I worry that our host has been hanging out with too many meatheads.

Not so long ago, Tucker anointed one Andrew Tate as a go-too “manly” philosopher king, by bestowing him with the honor of a “Tucker Carlson Today” interview.

The vision of manhood Andrew Tate offers disenfranchised young men he himself encapsulated thus: get rich, workout, have fast cars and fabulous females.

This skin-deep take on the Optimal Man is something every hip-hopster and rapper beat Mr. Tate to.

Men, young and old, could learn more about being admirable men from strong, principled women than from a rubbishy, social-media type “male,” whose goals are fast cars and fast women. I like and drive the poor-man’s fast car (six-speed manual transmission, turbocharged engine, 18-inch alloy wheels); but no quality woman wants a fast or fickle man.

At its most elevated, manliness, as I see it, is about the values of kindness, protectiveness—not gratuitous cruelty—honor, trust, and …, I’ll say it: sexual, monogamous love.

Love is the ultimate man maker.

True—physical and mental endurance certainly go to the core of manliness.

Indubitably, disciplined men and women can keep their bodies toned and faces fine well into old age. But testosterone in all its multifaceted manifestations is best preserved through passionate, monogamous love between a man and a woman.

Nothing completes a man and makes a man as a woman.

DID YOU notice the theme on the Tucker Carlson Tonight, July 18? Tucker Carlson got into TikTok mode, blaming China for pervasive American decadence, decades in the making.

The host petulantly saddled China and its algorithms for, among other things, America’s gutter culture, as acted out on TikTok.

If we are to believe Mr. Carlson, the Chinese made those Americans hos disrobe and simulate all manner of sex on TikTok. The Chinese made American TikTokers gesticulate and grunt and generally privilege Ebonics over English. And the Chinese made the same pornographic performers worship hip-hop and rap and energetically deploy their lower bodies to signal mating behavior that jibes with that of primates.

A non sequitur is when your argument’s conclusion does not follow from its premise. Milking illogic to incriminate China for cultural trends that pervade mainstream America culture—why, Laura Ingraham herself professed her love for the rap hump-a-long genre—Tucker offered up his proof for the blame-China thesis:

Chinese TikTokers are seen practicing piano, manners and magic cube mental skills, whereas Americans can be observed doing what they do on … TV, in the movies, on reality shows, on campuses from kindergarten to college and on political panels.

Say no more. Point proven (mine). QED. Doing dumb and degenerate has become the Alpha and Omega of American life. TikTok reflects not Chinese machinations, but the broader American culture.

China’s culture until Communism was Confucian, which is high-minded and genteel. And, contra ConOink (my variation on ConInc), China is reactionary, returning not to Communism, but to Confucianism.

America’s youth, enabled by indulgent and permissive parents and pedagogues, have become increasingly licentious, lippy and libertine. Most are ignorant and lousy at writing, reasoning, and conversing coherently about anything other than raaaaaacism and, “Like my sexuality.” The kids have also become un-moored from their finest traditions, which are being embraced by …the Chinese: They are returning to things classical, traditional and eternally and universally beautiful.

You don’t see many of China’s youth act out in estrus, because they can’t. China has banned corrupt hip-hop culture, and has a new export: Western classical music.

“Once, classical music generally traveled from the West to the rest,” marveled the Economist. “Now China is reversing the exchange, not merely performing Western classical music in China, but exporting it. …”

In China, they’re inclined to consider a youth-obsessed society such as ours a silly society. The standard inquiry, among Taiwanese engineers, I am told, about their American counterparts in hardware engineering is, “How many grey hairs and no-hairs are in the group?” Unlike their youth-worshiping American colleagues, these wise instinctual Confucians reason that the presence of “grey hairs and no-hairs” in the collaborating high-tech team bodes better for the project.

On the other hand, “in America,” as Oscar Wilde had observed, “the young are always ready to give to those who are older than themselves the full benefits of their inexperience.” And adults are always on-hand to facilitate their folly.

From Fox News we move to LinkedIn for a snapshot of the Zeitgeist. There, conservative adults, ostensible grown-ups, ooze over the vacuous, rah-rah of children, in this instance, a girl waxing fat over the unfettered freedoms enjoyed in the USA. She went to Israel, courtesy of Harvard University. There, a rabbi obsequiously called America, not his own country, the best country in the world. She took to TikTok to deliver her own Sermon on the Mount (good career move), when not a single member of this girl’s entourage clapped.

Well, neither was Julian Assange clapping. He is the greatest libertarian alive, if barely. Why is Assange so fearful of being extradited to the USA? Does this bravest of freedom fighters perhaps fear being locked-up for life, and possibly Epsteined in the “freest” country’s dungeons?

Have the Panglossians at Harvard heard about private-sector driven financial de-platforming, en masse? Speech restrictions? Has the tom-tom drum passed on the news to Israel Firsters that some of our American colleagues struggle to find banks through which to transact financially?

We have just lived through three years during which the Pharma State has consolidated power as never before. On pain of taking the Covid jab, the State, sans GOP objection, has de facto established license to shutter a subject’s business, deny him freedom of movement, quarantine, fire, and separate him from loved ones. Under Republican and Democrat reign alike.

The DOJ (Department of Justice) doesn’t stop prosecuting deplorables when the guard changes in D.C. The ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) is more or less the same whichever the game. The overarching Permanent State is in operation just as viciously during and on the Republicans’ watch—although Fox News marionettes and the pols and party operatives running the show would like you to think these depredations began with Biden. Addled brains are good for their ratings and their political power.

Arrests of political opponents without due process have become more common in police state USA than in Apartheid-era SA, which, as chronicled in “Into The Cannibal’s Pot,” was unsurprisingly (because run by the pale patriarchy) legalistic and by-the-book.

For what it’s worth, as a dissident writer for over 23 years, my written speech would be far less imperiled and less cancelled in Putin’s Russia than it is in the USA today.

The American Administrative, Surveillance and Security State is the most powerful and feared in the world. And the Kids, progressive and conservative, are clueless.

If thought mediates action—then neither faction can conceptualize clearly about freedom, and thus will fail to fight for it.

Cancelling the Grand Old Party (GOP) was the mission of last week’s “Hard Truth” podcast, undertaken by your columnist, her partner, David Vance, and guest Jack Kerwick (introduced here). And on good grounds. The Republican Party has never stood up for you, will never stand up for you and is not going to do what it takes. Past is prologue.

As Dr. Boyd Cathey has observed, the “party which never conserves anything” had been exposed as such as far back as 1875. “The great Southern author, Robert Lewis Dabney, writing a decade after the end of the War Between the States … expressed presciently this tendency of dominant, post-war Northern conservatism”:

The history of the Republican Party is “that it demurs to each aggression of the progressive party, and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at last in the innovation. What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is to-day one of the accepted principles of conservatism; it is now conservative only in affecting to resist the next innovation, which will to-morrow be forced upon its timidity, and will be succeeded by some third revolution, to be denounced and then adopted in its turn.”

A point of philosophy arises. From the progressive perspective, society—civil and state—are what shape the human being and account for his conduct. To the extent our world is filled with perverts, grifters, and deviants—they were propelled into misbehavior by societal forces often beyond their control. Or, so goes progressive-style social determinism.

Libertarians, for their part, also often err on the side of a structurally similar social determinism. The State, their reasoning goes, accounts, for the most, for deviance in society. Remove the State and you remove the incentives for people to behave badly.

This Hebrew takes the biblical view tested by time. It is that, as stated in Genesis 8:21 (with thanks to my editors), the instinct of man is evil from his youth. (Or, wackily mistranslated: “the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth.”) Evil is integral to the human condition, always has been, always will be. Evil can’t be wished away, treated away, medicated away or legislated away. Evil is here to stay.

What we observe in the political landscape is a function and a reflection of human nature, acting in aggregate. Over and above the idea that we get the government that we deserve is the devastating reality that this government doesn’t stand apart from us. It is us.

Stated by a reader on American Greatness, “We are culturally rotten…as a country and a people…sick to the core. Without shame, without humility, without prudence or common sense.”

In the aggregate, this is probably true. We evince deep, all-engulfing systemic rot, manifested in public and personal life.

Some questions, however, lingered. Were we and our guest, Dr. Kerwick, being theoretical purists, rejecting or refusing to engage with the political reality as it is? Perhaps conservatives should just put up and shut up about the Only Game in Town? Succinctly put by another of our fabulous viewers and readers:

“Yup! The Republicans suck. But the Democrats want to kill me.”

To that, David provided the perfectly plain answer, as is his wont. WATCH. So did the late Andrew Breitbart of blessed memory. WATCH AND SUBSCRIBE.

David and ilana also get down to some “Monkey Business.” Look, the disease du jour, “Monkey Pox,” is not a concern, although The Powers are itching to make it a lockdown affair. All you have to do is avoid biblically prohibited copulation.

(Oh, last week, ilana went with a woke aesthetic, as viewers of the “Hard Truth” podcast told her bluntly. So, no more unwashed hair on this May 26, 2022 “Hard Truth” episode. Ilana cleaned up “good,” as they’d say in the South.)

In his June 20, 2020 J’accuse, Tucker Carlson, for all practical purposes, cancelled the Republican Party: “When the moment of crisis came, Republicans ran away,” he roared. “Major American cities were looted and burned on television. Citizens were beaten and murdered. Works of public art were destroyed by the score. America’s history, those shared experiences that bind us together as a nation, was plundered and complete rewritten by illiterate vandals. Everywhere, as they watched, Americans were afraid—afraid not simply for their safety but afraid for their jobs, their reputations, afraid for their families….And the question that hangs in the air is: where are our protectors?…The president of Heritage wrote an op-ed accusing America of being irredeemably racist…so many on the Right did exactly the same thing.”

Jack Kerwick has been anatomizing just such failures and betrayals dished out by the ConOink establishment for over a decade, writing in January of 2021, of virus-related tyranny that,

…the country bequeathed to us by the generation that, in the midst of a smallpox epidemic, fought and defeated the most powerful empire in the world in order to be a self-governing union of sovereign states—subjected itself to a nationwide internment.
The United State of America became the Interned States of America as the Constitution of the Old Republic was indefinitely revoked, the economy crushed, and ‘the little platoons’—as Burke referred to those buffers between the individual and the State, those forms of community constitutive of civil society and in the absence of which human flourishing would be impossible—were radically undermined. … And all of this occurred in a country with a Republican President, a Republican-controlled Senate, a Supreme Court dominated by Republican appointees, and a majority of whose state legislatures and governors are Republican. [Emphasis added.]

As captivated as voters on the right may be by the promise of the primaries, they’d be wise to remember the nature of the Republican Racket—the duopoly or uniparty swindle, for that matter.

You’ve been here before. Elections in our country are a national bipolar mood disorder that sees our side, the right, swing from halcyon highs under the Stupid Party to nadir lows under the Evil Party, except that there never is long-term, real relief.

With a difference. Something huge happened in our country in the past few years. It is not hyperbole to say the republic has been lost. To paraphrase the great Naomi Wolf, we are at a civilizational crossroads, still living under emergency law, the Constitution suspended. We’ve adjusted to tyranny and no one is the wiser.

Certainly not any Republican.

Some of us have long held that the republic of blessed memory was lost ages ago. Others still hold out hope for a small “r” republican revival. Even the most Panglossian among us must acknowledge that a tipping point was reached during COVID.

THE DEMOCRATS have always set the terms of debate; Democrats stand tall for their core principles, as atrocious as these manifestly are.

Consider: How does the illiberal left deal with Republicans? They leverage against their political opponents the full force of the managerial, permanent state, which they’ve captured. They galvanize the DOJ (Department of Justice), the Security and the Surveillance State to destroy as many conservatives as possible. Rivulets of words like “treason” and “white supremacist” soon run through the Democrat-dominated media and through other intellectual means of production captured. Subpoenas are issued. Congressional hearings are hastily begun; impeachment proceedings set in motion. The criminal arm of the Democrat Party is marshaled in quick succession. These vampiric operatives—BLM, Antifa, demented distaff—are soon staking out, stalking and canceling conservatives making life intolerable. Simultaneously, and in addition to utterly demonizing their opposition, Democrats typically plug away at making the country ungovernable, lawless, diverse to the point of distrust.

Against the potency of the Democrats, Republicans offer only impotence. The GOP strives to fit in. The typical ConOinksters—the con artists formerly known as neoconservatives, as Establishment Republicans, as ConInc, or the “Big Con”—their existence consists in pacifying the left and deceiving the right.

Blunt is better: Republicans live like you would in a gay bathhouse: on their knees. At every turn, they apologize and expiate for their principles. Their feeble reaction to Democrat depredations, in general, has the effect of normalizing decadence, degeneracy, lawlessness, and breakdown of all standards—the systemic institutional rot that is convulsing the country. Republican reaction to a steady stream of brazen invaders breaking the Southern border, in particular, is to whinge ever-so occasionally and oh-so softly.

By Republican telling, it is the Democrats who made immigration enforcement impossible. Not so! George Bush would still wrestle a crocodile for an illegal immigrant. Collaboration between the parties over the years codified into law that no invader could be turned back. By mutual agreement between the parties, no sooner do these criminal aliens cross into the Unites State and plonk themselves on our side of the Rio Grande—than they must be “processed” and released, never booted. The Wall was always meant as a cheap election ploy to excite the febrile imagination of the voter. That, Donald Trump understood. So, instead, the former president did an ingenious workaround: Trump “erected a bureaucratic wall that expelled unauthorized immigrants on the southern border,” forcing them to bunk-down in Mexico.

Back to COVID: Is there one GOPer running in the primaries who has promised and comprehends how to ensure that no centrally or locally directed lock-down will ever occur again? Any conservative campaigning on a serious examination of lockdown crimes against the citizens and travel restrictions on the unvaxed? Has even one of the Republican candidates traipsing through Fox News’ green room addressed the creation of an unvaccinated underclass (villains all) and a vaccinated upper-class (virtuous)? Who among these contemptible clowns clawing their way to D.C. has even mentioned the fact that we the unvaxed are still being denied access—based not on active aggression we’re committing, but rooted in our peaceful rejection of the corporate, State-mediated aggression against us: We won’t take the Hemlock.

Is a single Republican moron proposing to ensure that never again will the medical idiocracy—bona fides established during the pandemic—come between a dying patient and his family?

Remember how Republicans, during COVID, would prattle about religious exemptions (state granted!) and natural-immunity based exemptions (state granted!)—but had not the faintest urge to defend the natural, God-given right of self-ownership? I do. You should, too! Almost to a man, did most of the Republicans we endured on TV during COVID prance onto the set, boasting self-righteously: “I’ve had the vaccine, I’m for science, but I support the rights of my rube-hick constituents to reject it.”

Anyone running to permanently restore due process of law lost by so many Americans, especially the Jan. 6 dissidents? Show me the Republican lout who is able to articulate that, no, we don’t need new laws. No other country has as many laws as the United States Code. (Attempts to count the number of laws scattered over upwards of 23,000 pages have failed.) How about electing people who understand how to uphold rights already instantiated in the founding documents, and forcefully enforce the laws that ensure ordered liberty?

In this context, has Rep. Chris Stewart heard about the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution? Tucker Carlson invited this prototype Republican to talk up legislation to outlaw the Surveillance State (National Security Agency spying on us), all TV theater and farce. The Fourth Amendment already does that.

Lastly, what, if anything, have Republicans done to stop policy and society from taking on an anti-white hue? They rabbit on about Critical Race Theory (CRT), framing it as Marxism, when it is, as I’ve pointed out for years, unadulterated anti-white agit prop.

For Republicans, moreover, it seems impossible to mention white suffering without dragging in the “black experience.” Republicans just can’t seem to protect or stick up for besieged whites and are forever searching their brains for ways to show off how black-focused they are. Channeled by conservative TV windbags, CRT is said to be bad not because it’s pure and simple anti-white racism tinged by ethnocide—not Marxism—but because it demeans the nobility and abilities of blacks. Likewise, black violent crime conservative bobbleheads lament because it hurts blacks the most, rather than because it rips through 87 percent of the rest of society.

The provenance of the current COVID and anti-speech corporate tyranny—with business free to screen out and reject employees based purely and solely on their COVID vaccine status or on the thoughts they express—is the Republican Party.

On HARD TRUTH, David Vance and I speak to Jack Kerwick about the irreparably hopeless Republican Racket. RIP, GOP.

“When bloodbath becomes bacchanalia”~ ilana mercer

In an era where everything is captured on camera; the cold-blooded murder of Gyovanny Arzuaga and Yasmin Perez remains particularly galling.

The occasion was the Puerto Rican Day Parade in Chicago, Saturday last. The location: West Division Street on the Northwest Side, at Humboldt Park.

South Africa style—and for no good reason—a bunch of “fellas,” as Colin Flaherty is wont to say, leapt out of their vehicle, surrounded a stationary car, pulled a young couple out of it and shot each in the head, execution style, while hopping about and gesticulating in feral glee.  Watch:

There was no detonating rage or purpose to the act—only heightened arousal. The scene had the ritualistic quality of a voodoo ceremony, minus the wide-eyed ululation. Running commentary offered by the videographer had the same flat affect: Folks, this is good fun, but hey, stay cool. Chill.

“I don’t think this crime will be ‘disappeared’ so easily,” tweeted one “Musil Protege.” “It may be worth watching Tucker tonight. He has developed a relationship with Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez,” posited “Musil.” The alderman is “a reasonable law-and-order Democrat, who has become something of a thorn in the side of Mayor Lori Lightfoot.”

Shortly after the Tucker Carlson witching hour (Tucker is magic), “Musil” was back on Twitter feeling thoroughly dejected.

“My mistake,” came the next tweet. “Tucker Carlson turned to his go-to expert on everything, Candace Owens. Mea culpa.”

Say no more.

Twitter’s “Musil” is right about Tucker’s disappointing tack. The Fox News superstar had intimated that nobody rendered a more lucid explanation for the orgies of black crime on display than the oracular Miss Owens.

In essence—and without fail—Candace contends that the Democrats made them do the deed. The Democrats are the provenance of all the ills of society.

For his part, Tucker was really lacquering Candace’s “The Democrats Made Them Rut And Riot” theory of crime with praise. This was “the crispest summation of a very complex issue,” he ruled, as he conceded the exact opposite: Crime was a feature of human nature (and not a divination of the Democratic Party).

Owens, who was on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to address the “terrifying rise is violent crime and crime rates,” had rattled off something about, “The Democrats using black people and racism as pawns to distract people from what’s going on,” namely a government power grab.

And, “Everything bad is coming from the United States government being controlled by Democrats.”

When Ms. Owens says she’ll “spell it out for us plainly,” we must listen (my tongue here is firmly in my cheek). After all, when she and Charlie Kirk spoke for Brexit in London, circa 2018, they dubbed their visit “the most important American philosophical arrival to [sic] Europe since Thomas Jefferson arrived in Paris.” That was Charlie Kirk, not Russell Kirk.

June 19 saw a shooting go down in Oakland, California, in which one individual was killed and 6 injured, north of the Lake Merritt Amphitheater. The large rave was to revel in the newly minted Juneteenth “holiday.”

The bloodbath soon turned into a bacchanalia. This is the way people expressed how hot murder made them. Watch.

By Candace Owens’ consistent line of argument on Mr. Carlson’s TV slot, the Democrats made some black residents of Oakland CA, simulate coitus and engage in an orgiastic celebration of murder and mayhem around the vans of the emergency medical technicians.

What’s remarkable—and so alien—about these killing fields across our country is the sexual component; the debauchery and revelry that accompany the violence. Violence appears to be sexually titillating to some lower-order reptilian brains (with apologies to reptiles).

As a handgun pumps slugs into the prone victims aforementioned in this column’s lead; pants are pulled down, and lower extremities are thrusting like those of a dog in-heat. (Apologies are extended to the canine community, too, for the unfortunate comparison.)

In all, “the Democrats made them riot and rut” argument is doo-doo. It doesn’t fly, and it’s pretty bad moral reductionism.
