State ideology and the corporate creed have converged. Between them, they suborn the individual in one way or another ~ilana

Between the State and the Corporation, Homo sapiens has been reduced to a Hobbesian, hedonistic version of homo economicus and a sad iteration of homo solitarius ~ilana

The Paleolibertarian Guide To Deep Tech, Deep Pharma & The Aberrant Economy is the first in a series of volumes, to form part of “The Paleolibertarian Guide” (TPG) compendium.

“Deep Tech,” my preferred term for the high-tech sector, denotes how deeply the head honchos of high-tech have penetrated and poisoned the American public and private sectors. As a coinage, Deep Tech is superior to Big Tech. Drawn from the term “Deep State,” the term “Deep Tech” better captures Big Tech’s overarching, enervating and tentacular reach into state and civil society.

“Deep State,” of course, is no conspiracy. Before the Left turned the term against the Right; it had long since been deployed on the Left and by libertarians to denote the state within a state, operating, for the most, extra-constitutionally. To all intents and purposes, Deep Tech has become almost as powerful as the State in molding the Little Guy into a right-thinking Global Citizen.

In The Paleolibertarian Guide To Deep Tech, Deep Pharma & The Aberrant Economy, I make the case that state ideology and the corporate creed have converged. Between them, they suborn the individual in one way or another. The State no longer merely silhouettes civil and commercial society; but is absorbing it. What’s more, corporate culture, my purview in this volume, has been thoroughly co-opted by the State. Willingly so.

It has become the reflexive habit of corporations, not necessarily malevolently, to work together as well as to collude with government, to snuff out all lineaments of subversion in labor. After all, the progressive ideology is a gospel which these industry leaders never cease to proclaim and act upon. And if you fail to conform to it; they’ll fire you, isolate you, expose you, silence you, cancel you for good. These observations apply across party-lines.

“The Aberrant Economy” in this work denotes the attitude of the multinationals toward economic growth. This attitude is today rooted not in healthy, community-based practices stateside and abroad, but in some aberrant economic gigantism. The derogatory diagnosis of economic elephantiasis undergirded by hubris, greed, and devout woke religiosity is warranted, I believe. Acromegaly is a physical deformity. In the human body it is caused by overproduction of certain compounds and is characterized by aberrant enlargement of the structure under discussion.

A diagnosis of economic acromegalia in Deep Tech is warranted ~ilana

The economic acromegalia or giantism diagnosed here in Deep Tech is one that manages to trample individual rights and other elementary decencies. Let us thus not confuse the metastatic multinational, motivated mostly by stratospheric wealth and a woke worldview—itself a gutter-like philosophy—with a business propelled by the good old-fashioned profit motive, whose growth is sustained by individuals and families tethered to corporeal communities, as opposed to colonies of imported laborers. Individuals, families, living in authentic, organic communities: These misty attachments are anathema to, and enemy of, the multinational’s clubby elites.

I underscore, as if in red ink, and deconstruct in detail how the awfulness of the COVID years, in particular, was underwritten by giant government, Big Pharma, and its latest malignant offshoot, the COVID Cartel—Disease X ad infinitum, if you will—in informal cahoots with social media. Again, a state within a state, operating, for the most, extra-constitutionally.

Just how control is achieved—more reflexively than conspiratorially—I demonstrate by taking the reader through the COVID years, when “Agency And State Capture” were consolidated. I show how and why the Grand Old Party, Republicans, will always be missing in action on matters of individual and constitutional rights. On all matters, actually:

The overton window alludes to a range of ideas once considered unthinkable, but now normalized. With their flaccid, crushingly stupid responses to most situations—Republicans have helped to normalize tyranny ~ilana

And I touch on the deformed foundations of the American Third-Party run healthcare system, down to how Deep Pharma’s patent privileges subvert market-based profits and free market medicine. Fault Deep Pharma, I counsel, not China.

In fact, not mere jobs, but “the very stuff of life is outsourced” by High-Tech, which loathes a labor market. (Chapter 7.) After reading “Homeless In The Homeland” (Chapter 6), the most heartbreaking of the book’s chapters, the reader will understand not only how “High-Tech Compounds Homelessness,” but that “homelessness in the United States is both physical and metaphysical”:

When your home belongs to The World; it’s everybody’s home, and nobody’s home, not even yours, which means you could find yourself homeless ~ilana

Ultimately, the sundering of cherished natural and constitutional rights by entities whose market penetration and capitalization equal those of many countries combined is why a solution is urgent.

Free-traders such as myself contend that it is worse than corrosive for big, powerful business to usher in a mind-controlling creed which they enforce against the Little Guy—on pain of social and financial demise—so that his speech is confined to politically correct, do-or-die guiding lodestars, the kind that sap and leach away the individual’s native power. Such an immoral drive ought to have miscarried a long time ago. A solution is provided in Chapter 9, “Dispatching Deep Tech; Enforcing Natural Rights.”

In the “Epilogue: On Globalism & Giving,” I round up by juxtaposing global integration with regionalism and localism, and spotlighting the last inspirational capitalist heroes of international standing. I hope to leave the readers with thoughts about charity, grace and what distinguishes The Good Giver from the Showy Giver.

THE PHILOSOPHICAL FRAMEWORK

Analytical thinking precedes empiricism and is at the root of solid thought as well as good science ~ilana

The Paleolibertarian Guide To Deep Tech, Deep Pharma & The Aberrant Economy, as mentioned, is the first in a series of volumes, to form part of The Paleolibertarian Guide (TPG) compendium. The TPG’s polemical impetus is analytical in nature. The framework of this and future works in the series will systematically demonstrate that analytical thinking precedes empiricism and is at the root of solid thought as well as good science—and liberty itself.

To wit, certain propositions in life need no “empirical evidence” for their validation. If anything, the constant insistence on scientism is in itself evidence of a deep corruption of reason. While solid empirical data are never to be dismissed, these are supplemental to a solid philosophy of science.

Derived from the Aristotelian method, the method I follow, Austrian-School thinking, is based in the laws of reason. To the extent that research contradicts reason, to that extent research is rubbish. The idea that science without the philosophy of science is nonsense comes alive for readers in Chapter 2: “COVID’s Cartel Of Cretins,” where, vivid and fun examples of a priori truths are provided.

THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON of this volume and those to follow is how to repatriate thinking outsourced to the expert class. For, these days, the simplest of logical deductions often appear to evade the ordinary man or woman.

The cognitive class, a managerial malignancy now glommed onto the Managerial State, will often cloak itself in the raiment of “science” and is instrumental in generating consensus. The insidious Expert Class that shapes and manages perceptions about public affairs I see as an extension of James Burnham’s Managerial State.

New Yorker James Burnham (1905-1987) began his intellectual odyssey as a Trotskyist before abjuring Marxism altogether and becoming a passionate anticommunist. He coined the phrase “managerial revolution,” which was extremely influential in the 1940s, and which served as the title of his bestselling book, one that had a marked impact on Orwell’s philosophy.

Lilliputian Man now finds himself pinned down like a butterfly, incapable or unwilling to derive and arrive at the truth without outsourcing his thinking to some authority or another. Restore we must the ancient philosophical notion whereby some things are simply axiomatically true (or false, for that matter), for it has profound ramifications for liberty.

A free-thinking people does not outsource thinking—the very business of life—to anyone.

For shooting his mouth off, Trump has been designated a felon. Relays of prosecution launched against him have culminated in the Georgia arrest: That is persecution. Trump is being subjected to the Law of Rule, not the rule of law ~ilana

That Donald Trump is a political martyr is indisputable. It was already bedrock truth in January, 2021, when I first uttered the M-word. The occasion was the president’s second impeachment, passed impromptu in the House, with no due process of law afforded him whatsoever.

That the persecution of Trump is his badge of honor, a decoration of sorts, has been seconded in some unlikely quarters. Individuals calling themselves Blacks For Trump say the same. Trump is a Brother now: They designate you a felon for shooting your mouth off, and book you into the infamous Fulton County Jail in Atlanta; that means the system is messing with you, they say. You are one of us.

Brothers who speak like this are sensing a deep injustice that comes with institutional rot.

Relays of prosecution launched against Trump have culminated in the Georgia arrest: That is persecution. Trump is being subjected to the Law of Rule, not the rule of law.

Now that Trump has been martyred—we pray for the former president and salute him for his resolve and resilience in the face of unadulterated evil. For the Permanent State, Democrat and Republican, want Trump gone for good—and worse. There! I said it. It’s the truth.

The D.C. hydra head has denied Robert F. Kennedy Jr. a security detail; and they’d assassinate Donald Trump if they could. They’d do the same to you, if you mattered.

In their mild, flaccid responses to the martyrdom of Donald Trump; the Republicans remain execrable.

Neoconservatism Mainstreamed Again

Admiration for Trump the Man notwithstanding—his failures as a president are irremediable. He normalized, even revived, neoconservatism, emboldening its representatives to make a comeback, by heeding his daughter and hiring so many of them. Nikki Haley and John Bolton are examples. He heeded their policy advice too:

“It’s often said that the Trump administration is ‘isolationist,’” wrote historian Andrew J. Bacevich, in the UK Spectator. Untrue. “In fact, we are now witnessing a dramatic escalation in the militarization of US foreign policy in the Middle East, Africa and Afghanistan. This has not been announced, but it is happening, and much of it without … any debate in Congress or the media.”

That Trump’s foreign policy is far and away better than that of the eight Republican pigmy presidential hopefuls is not saying much. It’s inferior to that of RFK., Jr. And foreign policy now is the defining, do-or-die issue.

Left intractable, Deep State chic grew under Trump.

Christopher Wray was President Donald Trump’s FBI director nominee. What’s more, Wray had told the president and the nation where his unalloyed loyalties lay. Wray said he was more than partial to his corrupt predecessor, James Comey. About former FBI Director Robert Mueller Wray gushed, too. He signaled to Trump that he’d gladly wade back into the same swampy polluted waters—Trump let him.

The 45th president squandered the mandate he was given. Trump failed to prevent the consolidation—and the crimes against humanity—of a Covid Cartel, the vaccine passports, the unconstitutional lockdowns, the decimation of American small business and the destruction brought by the summer of black-on-white rage, which went unpunished under his watch.

The promised Wall gave way to “multilayered technology”; to the mere “deployment of additional personnel,” and to a promise to better “vet prospective immigrants, refugees, and other foreign visitors,” when Deplorables wanted criminal interlopers corralled and booted from the country.

Trump also ushered in a damaging T & A show of treacherous distaff. Head on over to CNN or ABC if you are interested in taking the measure of the typical celebutantes hired by Donald Trump during his presidency. On the progressive Fake News networks one can observe the female flotsam and jetsam—former Trump personnel—perform for the camera, hissing like cobras against the president who foolishly hired them for their ass-ets.

Trump had promised Deplorables to hire the best. Instead, he gave us a rotating, ongoing T & A parade, including his ditzy daughter.

Still Don’t Know Shia from Shinola

For Ivanka, Trump bombed Syria. For her lapdog husband, he approved boatloads of H-1B visas, and aid to Saud in bombing a starving Yemen. Like his predecessors who didn’t know Shiite from Shinola, Trump’s America was enlisted in a proxy Sunni-Shia religious war, also Riyadh’s ultimate aim; on the side of the Sunni, who don’t give a dried camel’s hump about Christians or American, and from whose madrasas come our killers.

The Shia are represented regionally by the more sedate, genteel Iranians and Syrian Alawites. Trump assassinated a uniformed official of a sovereign Shia state. Qassim Soleimani, an Iranian major general, was the equivalent of our Special Operations commander. We Americans would not tolerate it were Iranians to designate America’s Special Operations commander, General Bryan P. Fenton, a terrorist.

A just foreign policy is one that avoids what are local skirmishes and allows regional powers to emerge and arrive at arrangements advantageous to the locals. Alas, evidence abounds that when Yemeni, Saudi, Syrian, Iranian, Israeli and Russian interests make attempts at regional sovereignty and diplomacy; Uncle Sam supersedes to sunder these.

In all, both Jared and Ivanka, dubbed Jarvanka, had been eager to hobnob at Davos (Davos before Deplorables). The two trundled along to all major functions, tastelessly elbowing out the first lady, shivving her on every occasion, an audience with the Pope, included.

At Jarvanka’s behest—and spurred on by his own terrible judgment—Trump began firing and feuding with the architects of MAGA, all of whom could not stand the Davos duo. Ivanka had vaporized the excellent John Kelly, who had kept Jarvanka out of the Oval Office. As did Trump’s daughter get rid of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, a tough ice-princess, who effectively instituted and administered the zero-tolerance policy on the border and never caved over family separation.

With her house boy, Ivanka then inaugurated the Goldman-Sachs West-Wing matriarchy (Jared is androgynous, certainly her submissive). Neoconservative Dina Powel, former adviser to Ivanka, soon made it onto Trump’s National Security Council. She was a relic from Goldman Sachs and an Ivanka recruit. The affable Democrat Gary Cohn, Trump’s chief economic advisor, was former president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs.

These “Kushner-Cohn Democrats” ousted Stephen Bannon from the West Wing.

Ivanka and the bimbo parade proved to be one of “The Donald’s most intractable problems.” “What Ivanka wanted Ivanka got,” at the expense of the MAGA agenda. Whether Deplorables admit it or not, the two New York liberals, a nepotistic appendage to the Trump Administration, had been a disaster for the plank President Trump had promised and for which Deplorables voted.

And I won’t even go into the press secretaries who bedecked Donald’s dais, starting with stumblebum Sarah Huckabee, obsequious, useless, forever apologizing for any America First impetus. You just know that Kimberly G-String (who makes Madonna look natural) will be waltzing straight into a role as Trump’s press secretary. (More about Kimberly Guilfoyle in “Is Political Participation Predicated On Views About Holocaust?,” November 14, 2019) If not Don Jr’s paramour, then it’ll be another such apparition. Someone like Trump’s attorney Alina Habba-Habba. She’s what Trump appoints, and will continue to appoint, because he lacks the wherewithal and the will to assess and appreciate intelligence.

Your columnist’s Trump Revolution book, published June 29, 2016, cheered “The Donald’s creative destruction.” In “The Trump Revolution, The Donald’s Creative Destruction Deconstructed,” Trump was celebrated as a,

Political Samson that threatened to bring the den of iniquity crashing down on its patrons, … an entrenched punditocracy, a self-anointed, meritless intelligentsia, oleaginous politicians, slick media, big money: You name it; Trump was tossing and goring it.

In becoming the focus of the alphabet soup of Evil Empire agencies and agents—DOJ, FBI, CIA, DNI, DAs—Trump has further exposed for all to see the putrefying innards of the Permanent State.

In the same book, your columnist had recommended that if Trump must have bling to front his administration—let him choose women like Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter and Heather Mc Donald, who could  deliver intellectually, are warriors with fight in them, do not exactly assault the eye. And, will not act like Delilah turned barber.

Alas, men with fragile egos don’t like women smarter than themselves.

Otherwise, Donald Trump is admirable and adorable; his mug shot is a piece of political art, one for the ages.

With Critical Race Theory, systemic racism and other Woke abstractions, a triumphant Left arbitrarily imposes meaning on the phenomenological world as a function of its will to power. It then bullies those who don’t go along ~ilana

Inciting racial hatred against whites is all in a day’s work on CNN. It devolves into a more festive affair when a celebrity like DL Hughley joins the network’s conga-line of cretins.

In a July, 2020 segment, the comedian, author of Surrender, White People!, regaled those CNN viewers of a masochistic mindset, by comparing “racism” to COVID-19.

Whitey, belched Hughley—who used to be witty and is now a drag—can be an asymptomatic carrier of racism. Just because you haven’t done anything racist, doesn’t mean you aren’t racist.

Pay no attention to the COVID-race comparison. It’s the Left’s lowbrow idea of an intellectual quip. Be mindful, however, of the “guilty if you do, guilty if you don’t” pop-jurisprudence. Collectively convicting an entire racial group for metaphysical crimes is the cornerstone of the Critical Race Theory.

Flouting Western judicial philosophy, Critical Race Theory says you are a racist without having committed racism, which is like being a murderer, robber or rapist without having murdered, robbed or raped.

How does that jurisprudence strike you?

It strikes the reasonable, fair-minded member of society as less than human, less than coherent, less than sane.

SYMBOLISM INSTEAD OF REALISM

Deconstructed, racism, as deployed by Critical Race racists, is purely a metaphysical affair. It doesn’t survive contact with reality, relying for its validation on a loose relationship with the real world.

You might say Critical Race Theory is anchored in symbolism and not realism.

Ditto Critical Race Feminism, a subspecies of Critical Race Theory, the symbolic nature of which I had traced in a 2001, Ottawa Citizen column:

Women’s studies courses and English departments have long been littered with [postmodernism’s] lumpen jargon. There, text is routinely deconstructed and shred. Subjected to this academic acid, Shakespeare, Tolstoy, and T. S. Eliot are whittled down to no more than ruling-class oppressors, their artistry reduced to the bare bones of alleged power relationships in society. All this glumness is due to a theory, no more, and one based on a partial and insular view of history [and reality].

To properly place the oppressiveness of all critical theory in perspective, a young man followed-up that column by writing me a personalized tale of desperation. He had the misfortune of drawing a skyscraper in art class. His creation was alighted on by his professor-cum-oppressor and right away called out for being a phallic symbol, offensive to womenfolk, meant as a symbolic assertion of his dominance qua male.

Where is reality in all this white noise? Nowhere. This nonsense exists solely in the heads of demented distaff and their house-broken, white, liberal, male accomplices.

Symbolism, after all, is not reality. What you see Rorschached in an ink-blot test is not real. It’s rarely even an approximation of reality. A Rorschach assay amounts to artistic license the tester takes with his subject’s reality.

THE LOOTER’S CRITICAL REALITY

As they are deployed today, the dreaded racism and sexism constructs are anchored in the notion that reality is determined by the allegedly pre-determined, power relationships in society.

Whites, in particular white men and the remnant of a civilization their forebears built, are invariably to blame. Blame for what, you ask? That’s easy: for everything.

A “fella” is laying waste to a little old lady’s bric-a-brac store in Kenosha, Wisconsin: Blame the melanin-deprived.

As that would suggest, any black man looting constitutes not a crime with real victims, but, rather, an acting out by the victimized, a reaction to historic “oppression”; a response to The Machine, in accordance with a theory that has been dreamed-up in the rarified atmosphere of the academy, and applied outside of it.

A theory, of course, any theory, is always an abstraction, removed from reality. A good theory cleaves to reality as much as possible, describing and presaging it. A bad theory superimposes a new reality on real events. Critical Race Theory does one worse: It rapes reality and loots it.

Another concrete case of the critical-race created tension between theory and reality unfolded on “Seattle Refined,” a Komo News television show.

The words “riots and protests,” asserted a local, privileged professor, are social constructs imposed by the power structure” on poor people of color.

Observe how for his “riots” our pedagogue claims the status of a “social construct,” a mere theory.

For poverty, by contrast, this African-American educator chose the status of reality.

Our teacher earns a fail on reality testing and reasoning. Both poverty and the George Floyd, Democrat/race riots of 2020 are immutable realities. Poverty, black and white, and the race riots are manifestly real. Ontologically, these are irrefutable events and occurrences.

What a lie, then, and an affront to reality and reason is a theory of racism that opts to deny one incontestable reality—the riots—but admits of another—black (but not white) poverty.

To opportunistically privilege only a spectrum of reality, as Critical Race Theory does, is (I repeat) “less than human, less than coherent, less than sane.”

In all its impenetrable, piss-poor prose, Critical Race theorizing is best confined to the turgid minds of our affirmative-action driven universities. Alas, it has percolated from America’s tertiary institutions throughout the state and civil society. By now, the Critical Race rot is institutional; it is the handiwork of progressive—regressive, rather—parents, pedagogues and politicians.

Indeed, the youth looting and at times rioting on our streets are not outsiders and interlopers; they are us. It is not insignificant that the whiter the city, the worse the riots have been. The 2020  protests that had engulfed more than 2,000 American cities and towns have been the worst in “Minneapolis (64 percent white), Seattle (66 percent), Portland (77 percent), and Kenosha, Wisconsin (67 percent).”

With Critical Race Theory, systemic racism and other Woke abstractions, a triumphant Left arbitrarily imposes meaning on the phenomenological world as a function of its will to power. It then bullies those who don’t go along.

The Right must reject this rot root and branch!

It is not capitalism that has failed, but crony capitalism ~Robert F. Kennedy Jr

The Constitution was built for hard times. It is the heart and soul of our country ~RFK, Jr

THE GULF BETWEEN principles and practice, doxa and praxis, is eternal—all the more so when it comes to the politician.

When you think of a GOP candidate, in particular, you think of neither creed nor action, but, rather, of a list of talking points and policy positions to the exclusion of bedrock principles.

“God, groceries and gas” was how one gaseous hack smugly summed up what Americans need, to Sean Hannity of the near-defunct [chuckle] Fox News channel. That, and promises seldom kept.

Aside from a native intelligence, and to distinguish from his rotten party’s political plank—Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., conversely, does articulate a creed that respects liberty. Whether he will act on this commendable worldview once in office is unknown.

As it emerged from the RFK, Jr., announcement for president, his worldview departs from that of the progressive Democrat Party’s, which he has decried as “the party of fear, war and censorship… neocons with woke bobble-heads.”

RFK, Jr’s philosophy of liberty, moreover, appears wedded to reality. He doesn’t jabber GOP-style about a return to small government and the passing of a balanced budget amendment.

Such totem Republican “small-government” words are as good as Orwellian News Speak in concealing the truth, as they are dumbly and dangerously unmoored from reality, and thus meaningless, mere reductive talking points.

With an accreting $31.8 trillion in national debt, and some $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities incurred by federal and state governments—the United States of America is beyond such asinine talk. There is no coming back from this kind of government gigantism; from such Federal Reserve and state-driven chicanery, with which Robert F. Kennedy Jr. seems familiar and to which he speaks knowledgeably.

Your columnist’s task over the decades has been to address reality, not to levitate in the arid arena of pure thought. Kennedy does the same. As does he appear to grasp that the natural law of the Constitution has been buried under piles of statute and administrative-law precedent. He knows this all too well, having spent his working life litigating against the Deep, Regulatory, Administrative, Security, Welfare-Warfare State.

LOCALISM

The thing that most inspires about an old-school presidential candidate like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., other than his spirituality and intelligence—unusual relative to all other candidates—is his authentic Americanism, by which I mean his knowledge of and deep attachment to American history, community and patrimony.

This authentic Americanism is expressed in Robert F. Kennedy’s natural localism. From Kennedy’s abundant and important storytelling, as it emerged in his announcement for president; American history is the history of its people—not the history of the Federal Government’s gory, glory wars and its many conquests and usurpations. As he tells it, the history of America tracks with that of real families, like the old fishing families, who are no more. For centuries, these communities had lived off and along the Hudson River.

And so, he spoke at length about the villagers on-the Hudson, and their relationship to the river, both a source of food and fun—”their French Riviera”—before it was contaminated by the colluding quislings of industry and state.

Corruption invariably flows from state to society. RFK, Jr., thus also addressed classic agency capture, which is how regulations are implemented: by the regulated in-cahoots with the state, always against the interests of the people, be it the military-industrial complex and its stake in perpetual war, the Agribusiness conglomerates, Big Pharma, and its latest malignant offshoot, the Covid cartel.

Also pleasing to this paleolibertarian is Kennedy’s praise for free-market capitalism long-lost. The historic fishing families that fished along the Hudson River are gone, he argued, not because “their business plan did not work,” for “they had enriched the history, culture and palate of New York for three and a half centuries.” Free market capitalism had worked perfectly for them, protested RFK, Jr. Nature in her abundance had been a reliable social safety net—victims of the great depression could fish and feed their families. Now they must look to the welfare state for sustenance.

What eliminated these authentic communities is corporate, crony capitalism.

Is there another politician who speaks not only to the difference between free-market capitalism, RIP, and crony corporate capitalism, under whose yoke we labor—but also categorically praises the first and damns the last?

LOCKDOWNS

Robert F. Kennedy was all teeth and talons against the lockdowns back when it counted—and now. Never forget!

Tarting-up or forgetting the lockdowns won’t wash.

How right RFK, Jr. is when he says nobody wants to talk about the lockdowns, as both political factions promoted or failed to stop the invasion and occupation of American bodies and businesses.

You cannot have a stable democracy without a middle class, something upon which Pat Buchanan had always insisted. The lockdowns decimated the American middle class, destroying 3.3 million small businesses and resulting in the highest excess death rate in the world: America’s. The cost of lockdowns to the economy according to Harvard economist Larry Summers was $16 trillion. It constituted the biggest transfer of wealth in human history, argues Kennedy, with $4 trillion having been shifted from middle class to super rich.

Other than Naomi Wolf, Tucker Carlson (who, chuckle, destroyed the War Party News Channel) and Glenn Greenwald—few have been the public figures to describe the effects of the lockdowns on small-business owners (well-represented among the Kennedy-supporting crowd) with such persuasive passion, compassion and grasp of the facts, delivered extemporaneously.

THE CONSTITUTION

Certainly no politician has spoken with such emotion about the foundational right of free speech trashed, and about the crucial role of our cherished U.S. Constitution in commanding us to respect its First Amendment and practice due process of law.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. the historian reminded his audience how inviolable that Constitution is meant to be, by harking back to the Revolutionaries who did battle with Britain during many a deadly plague, state mitigation of which was never instantiated in the founding documents.

He even let fly at Lincoln because the 16th president flouted the Constitution when he abolished habeas corpus, a right of petition currently suspended for many Americans who languish in jail without due process of the law. This disgrace Candidate Kennedy must openly eschew and remedy, as the Radical Republicans have failed to.

Free all January Six political prisoners; and rescue Julian Assange, the greatest libertarian alive, if barely.

Kennedy remarked not unfairly that, while “president Trump blamed for a lot of things that he didn’t do,” he is most certainly to “blame for the lockdown.” The Covid lockdowns were “the worst thing that [Trump] did to this country, to our civil rights, economy and middle-class.”

“President Trump, in fairness – let me make this point. President Trump, will say that the lockdown wasn’t my idea, the bureaucrats rolled me on it. I said we shouldn’t do it.”  “But that’s not a good excuse,” countered candidate Kennedy.

“You need a president in this time of history who can stand up to his bureaucracy.”

Over and above that Sisyphean task, America needs a president who can defang the bureaucracy for good.

Democrat Party is the part of ‘fear, war and censorship… neocons with woke bobble-heads’  ~Robert F. Kennedy

Tucker like Trump is transformational ~ilana

Fix News is finished, having just fired their only attraction, Tucker Carlson. As a writer who put in years of sustained antiwar writing against Genghis Bush and the neocon coterie—who burned (and consequently burnt-out) as hot as a Babylonian kiln against invasions backed 100 percent by Faux New and its blonde war-porn flank—something just short of total extinction seems a fitting fate for Fox. The foolish firing of their top rated host, and one of the highest-ranking cable news shows in the country, is sure to hasten the death rattle of the War Porn channel.

Evil And Envy

Fox News has thus cemented its unimpeachable credentials as lickspittle of the Republican Party, which it always was until Tucker. Just so there’s no confusion: the Party is exulting in Tucker’s ousting.

The intuitive and likely most base reason for the ouster of Tucker tracks with human nature: evil and envy strive for mediocrity.

The instinct of man is evil from his youth ~Genesis 8:21

Or, in the language of statistics, it’s the regression toward the mean; the quest in America for mediocrity:

“Tocqueville in the 19th century, and Solzhenitsyn in the 20th, noted that conformity of thought is powerfully prevalent among Americans,” observed my friend Clyde Wilson, professor of history at the University of South Carolina and the foremost scholar of John C. Calhoun.

So, too, do the responses from the mediocre media—and I flatter them—where one sees nothing but schadenfreude (“joy derived from the misfortunes of others”), track with the theory of evil and envy.

Fox News is an echo of the Republican Party, which serves the deep, warfare, industry-captured state.

Robert F. Kennedy, on the other hand, is “a choice, not an echo.”

One need not agree with every word Kennedy spoke in a pellucid address announcing for president, almost two hours long, delivered extemporaneously, to grasp that, on the defining issues of our time, almost all of which Kennedy addressed in depth and in detail, Robert F. Kennedy is right and righteous.

Of the welter of words spoken so very beautifully—for a man with a disorder of the vocal cords—Kennedy, Jr. underplayed perhaps two issues and failed to mention but one crucial matter, while delivering a riveting information-dense address, at once deep and philosophical, yet wise and pragmatic, undergirded by historic and constitutional truth. Tactical to boot.

Against The Deep, Warfare, Woke, Industry-Captured State

The overarching impetus of  Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s announcement is this:

Americans live and labor under an illiberal, unconstitutional, oppressive administrative state. Our representatives are meant to make law. How, then, has this vast bureaucracy, captured by globe-straddling industries, acquired tyrannical law-making powers! Most certainly not constitutionally.

Candidate Kennedy astutely connects the corrupt merger of state and corporate power with the events, stateside and abroad; past and present, unfolding around us—from the collapse of the dollar, the murder of the middle-class via Covid crackdowns and lockdowns (courtesy of the pharma-state), to inflation (Federal Reserve Bank), to the sundering of individual and constitutional rights, to war forevermore (in service of the military-industrial-complex against which Dwight Eisenhower and John Quincy forewarned).

State run “corporate feudalism” keeps us sick, disenfranchised, robbed of rights and due process of law; drug addled and always at war.

On second thought, and for now, I retract my implicit insinuation that Kennedy had omitted to address the war on whites and on law-and-order; for he may have opted to do so tactically and indirectly. Kennedy is hardly sanguine about the “garrison and surveillance state” America has become, noting that, “Being an imperium abroad will destroy democracy, turn America into a garrison and surveillance state.” Kennedy’s condemnation and contempt for the fulsome, foul Democratic Party was complete, calling it deliciously the party of “fear, war and censorship… neocons with woke bobble-heads.”

For now, I charitably conclude that this gifted man has simply hit on a way to approach the war on whites and on law-enforcement in a less divisive and direct manner, using proxy issues. Kennedy thus spoke as passionately and deliberately about the impoverished whites of Appalachia—they were as much Kennedy constituents as the poor of Southeast Washington. He promised the poor—and all Kennedy constituents—this:

“I will be president to those people. We are going to take back the country. You give me a piece of ground and a sword I will take back this country, with your help, we will go America first.”

Behind candidate Kennedy, moreover, were aligned the kind of men and women one saw at a Trump rally: middle class and working-class Americans of all races. With a difference: Theirs were fine, sweet, not spiteful, faces. None sported nose rings or pink hair. All faces were etched with untold pain and suffering.

Caveat emptor. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., will need to address the border, as that by-now meaningless phrase goes. He has not. If he cares about the poor of his country, he must convince them that he is not part of the Ted Kennedy Fifth Column, which, in 1965, wrote the multicultural legislation that altered America forever. Kennedy Jr. will need to plug the border down South and, ideally, expel Biden’s legions of foreign invaders. If you are championing the middle-class and the working poor you cannot swamp their country with an unending supply of labor.

Since almost no candidate has spoken as advised here—the Republicans having more or less learned to live with the Biden Border—Robert F. Kennedy is still ahead.

Ukraine: Masterful Philosophical Triangulation

Likewise did Mr. Kennedy approach Ukraine in what was a brilliant bit of philosophical triangulation.

First, Kennedy argued that the “geopolitical machinations” underway in Ukraine were tantamount to regime change. Mr. Kennedy next constructed a political argument against the war in Ukraine so inclusive and all-encompassing that it would appeal to all political factions.

To wit, the war in Ukraine is being peddled as a humanitarian mission. Americans are a humanitarian people. Side by side with that claim are the “geopolitical machinations” to effect regime change in Russia. So, if we are prolonging the war to wear Russia down, in the name of regime change, argues this brilliant litigator, then America is also using Ukraine to create “an abattoir of death” for that country and its young.

That, noted Kennedy with passion and invention, is not humanitarian. QED.

Americans are a militant people. At the same time, they are sentimental to a fault. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s argument against war in Ukraine is tailored to his people, the American People, and thus represents a feat of triangulation. His is not the pure libertarian, Just War, constitutional, anti-war argument, but when have those worked? So let us, then, try a position against war that’ll appeal to every segment of the American people (other than our overlords who art in D.C.).

“As long as our major exports are weapons and war,” he thundered, “we will never have a middle-class in this country.” And, “the principal job of every president is to keep the country out of war.”

RFK might even prove intellectually more nimble than Pat Buchanan on matters war. Both would agree that Pax Americana has brought very little by way of peace with it. But this younger member of America’s political aristocracy must distance himself from the late Ted Kennedy on immigration. Robert F. Kennedy will need to concede that, like war forevermore, an open border is inconsistent with a stable middle-class and upwardly mobile working poor who can strive, not starve.

Africa’s pushback against war with Russia provides some oscillation in the faulty circuit of American hegemony ~ilana

While offering meek opposition to the Ukraine project, the ostensibly “sane” wing of the GOP is ready with an alternative war: China. The base seems on board with the batty buildup in American belligerence toward China. I am, however, buoyed by Africa’s resistance to US foreign-policy diktats, the direction taken by African leaders with Putin, to be precise.

“Uganda will not succumb to pressure from former colonizers in the West to turn against Russia,” stated the Ugandan foreign minister, “as longstanding bilateral relations with Moscow are too important.”

The clownish “colonizer” riff aside, African leaders’ sentiments pertaining to the Russia-Ukraine, American-courted quagmire are apt: America has “cancelled countries, and killed the ancient, civilizing concept of neutrality.” That Africa, but not Europe, is demanding the freedom to choose its alliances is commendable.

Africa’s pushback against war with Russia provides some oscillation in the faulty circuit of American hegemony.

Skepticism is duly in order—“Laughing Out Loud” emojis, rather—when the FBI, apparatus of an “Empire of Lies,” embraces the intentional-leak theory with respect to COVID’s origins.

As it happens, “FBI Director Christopher Wray,” reports the BBC News, “has said that the bureau believes Covid-19 most likely originated in a Chinese government-controlled lab.” You don’t say. That settles it, now, doesn’t it? Well, no, it doesn’t. Not with the FBI’s lousy track record for veracity, neutrality and reliability.

Coming from the FBI, the intentional-leak theory seems rich—certainly as “intuitive” as Russia blowing up “the Nord Stream pipelines, also some of Europe’s most important civilian energy infrastructure.” By no coincidence, the FBI is currently running interference in a kinetic war with Russia and in a ramp-up to confrontation with China. (Leaks in biosafety level-4 laboratories have occurred both in the USA and in China.)

So, who gave COVID to the world? The bat-eating, Chinese people thus gifted the world. The plague-delivery pedigree of the Chinese is solid. Courtesy of the Chinese, the West got the H2N2 virus in 1957 and the H3N2 virus in 1968. Granted, the Chinese viral supply chain was broken with H1N1 flu; it came from Mexico. But, with the bird flu, SARS and SARS-Cov-2, the Chinese had fully reestablished their conventional disease-delivery credentials.

As conservatives tell it, the Chinese Communist Party is responsible for COVID, rather than the many millions of Chinese, who capture, torture—boil alive—and consume wild animals in ways that beggar belief.

Going by such COVID culpability theories, the steady stream of “China plagues” has had nothing to do with the noble Chinese people, who were just hanging—being the freedom-loving, civilized sorts they are; going about the business of making the world a better place—when, lo and behold, their scheming, communistic government sprung the COVID on them—and the world.

The clincher: If we know anything about the Chinese it is that, unlike the Americans, they do tend to act in the national interest. Covid was, very plainly, not in the national interest.

Jane Goodall, a wise woman, is not the only scientist who has warned one and all against the brutal, barbaric manner in which animals, wild and domestic, East and West, are being husbanded, creating the conditions and the opportunities for viruses to jump from animals across the species barrier to humans.

To me, the fact that the little Covid RNA strand has progressed quite conventionally from virulent to harmless further supports the supposition that SARS-Cov-2 has not been humanly engineered to resist such biologically predicted evolution.

Predictably, the Left chose to forsake animals to the tortures of the Chinese wet market, rather than campaign to close these. And no, Tucker Carlson, wet markets are not only for fish, as the host asserted in the first week of March of 2023. China’s wet markets, set up by immigrants in the US, too, are hell on earth for animals; places where mammals and feathered friends are tied up, stacked in cages and slaughtered on the spot for “freshness.”

“China plagues” was Donald Trump’s delicious coinage. Trump at CPUKE 2023 promised he’d stop the war in Ukraine, this, as he voiced a decided lack of neutrality in the conflict, even a vested interest in the outcomes for the one side. Mr. Trump continues to offer the same purely fiscal, utilitarian line on NATO, which is an excrescence of US foreign policy and has been instrumental in the latest war: less funding.

Trump also asserted that he never started wars. Well, he was certainly active in Niger, and it only took tears from Ivanka to drop a daisy cutter on Assad, who is an Alawite and friend to the Christians of Syria. Houseboy Jared was likewise overjoyed at Trump’s backing for Riyadh.

As to the Saudi’s Sunni-against-Shia religious war in Yemen, a “U.S.-backed, Saudi-led endeavor: No tears were shed over Yemeni babies dying of starvation due to US-aided blockades of that country’s ports by Saudi Arabia.

ALL THIS AND MORE is discussed on the latest HARD TRUTH PODCAST, “Oh, What Wonderful Wars: The West’s Lying Warlords,” https://rumble.com/v2c2npk-oh-what-wonderful-wars.html, with David Vance and your columnist. WATCH. We appreciate your SUBSCRIBE.

The Woke Universe is about inverting reality—turning truth, morality, ethics, and aesthetics on their heads, and destroying every categorical imperative bequeathed to us by the ancients. The goal? To make The World safe for Ugly, Evil, Idle and Aberrant ~ilana

Grammys 2023: The end of art, techno-porn caterwauling, and indecent exposure masquerading as music; an erogenous-zone centered extravaganza ~ilana

Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Brahms, Bruckner, Debussy, César Franck, Dvorák, Tchaikovsky (Russian), Elgar, Fauré and more—they embody The Best of The West, not the Woke pornographers and perverts, the Covid goons; rap, reparations, and the critical race bile ~ilana

Symbolically, the decaying Empire unveiled some of its most putrefying, pornographic cultural products in the week in which Burt Bacharach, composer of sublime pop-music, departed to the heavens. The beastly bacchanalia unfolded at the 2023 Grammys and the Super Bowel (sic) halftime hump-along, showcasing zero skill, 0 imagination, 0 talent and 0 beauty. Those vaguely familiar with my prose recognize that I’m being charitable.

Unfortunately, conservative commentators minimize the impetus and significance of this cultural foot-and-mouth, superciliously giggling over, and misdiagnosing, it.

The postmodern shift in the culture is positively tidal. But with their good-natured, bemused, crushingly stupid reactions to the most meaningful of events and situations, conservatives normalize, even aid and abet the decay. In this instance, the 2023 Grammys—techno-porn caterwauling, and indecent exposure masquerading as music.

The staple response I refer to are the reliably diffuse and vapid “insights” offered up by The Tucker Carlson Show’s giggly guest, Chadwick Moore.

Why is this perennial conservative confusion so important to correct? For one, because thought mediates action. And fuzzy, foolish thoughts about important matters give rise to fuzzy, foolish actions about important matters.

Chadwick Moore protested the Pfizer sponsored (alleged), Grammy performance of one Sam Smith on the grounds of “satanic panic”; that it was “devil-themed.”

Moore’s other redundant banality was to “reveal” that Smith is a grotesquely ugly transsexual man whose aim is to grab world attention.

You don’t say! As if my lying eyes told me otherwise!

THE ONLY SUBSTANTIVE CONSERVATIVE CASE to make over the Grammys is that it signifies the complete loss of immutable artistic standards. For while artistic taste is subjective and personal; artistic standards are everywhere and always objective.

Nobody looking at, and listening to, the 2023 Grammys should dare talk about beauty—of melody or movement—harmony (as in consonance and counterpoint), chord progression, and a facility with musical instruments, for these were nowhere apparent. Better melodic progression is to be found in “Baa, Baa, Black Sheep” and “Three Blind Mice.”

Nobody watching these erogenous-zone centered extravaganzas, for which the celebrity Idiocracy clapped like clapped-out whores, should dare conclude anything but this:

The Grammys were about the end of art—about the loss of all meritocratic, objective standards in art.

THE TRUE MEANING OF THE WEST is not to be found in the staged acts of ugly exhibitionists and filthy pornographers who bedeck our cultural and sporting events, the likes of loud, lousy Lizzo, a mountain of meritless flesh, and the Sam Smith Sicko—demented degenerates who are all engaged in publicly tolerated indecent exposure and tuneless yelping, that not even the Auto-tune magic software, the “holy grail of recording” technology, can correct.

THE MEANING OF THE WEST is not in this ghastly culture, in which our kids, liberal and conservative, are allowed to wallow, or in our ugly, grubby, tit-for-tat politics.

IT’S NOT in the Woke, postmodern perverts degrading the language, literature, music, art and sciences.

IT’S NOWHERE IN THE COVID CARTEL and its army of goons, medical and bureaucratic, devoid of intelligence and bereft of proficiency in anything but the use of force.

The aforementioned are imposters, interlopers; frauds, freaks and fetishists.

Beethoven is The West. It’s men like Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Brahms, Bruckner, Debussy, César Franck, Dvorák, Tchaikovsky (a Russian homosexual, whose manly music could never be queered), Elgar, Fauré and more—they embody The West. They and the many young performers furthering their work, the work of the Lord, are examples of the best of the West.

“Ode to Joy,” inspired by Friedrich Schiller’s eponymous poem, is but the soundbite in Symphony No. 9. Sublime as it is, “Ode to Joy” is the popular tune in a more magnificent whole.

One should not seek out exclusively the Ode of the Finale—the fourth movement—without assimilating the typically ballsy build-up by Beethoven throughout the preceding Allegro (first movement), scherzo (second movement) and Adagio (third).

MUSIC IS MAN. These men, to be precise.

Like nobody today, Beethoven instantiates this truth in all his Symphonies. Listen to No. 5 here, conducted by the great Herbert von Karajan, and tell me this is not the original headbangers ball.

To share with you, I have a fine performance of “Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125 ‘Choral’ (1824).” It is that of The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Barenboim.

Barenboim’s intensity during the performance and the perfection he wrung so effortlessly from these young, eager musicians—beautiful in face and form, hailing from far-flung countries across the Middle East and North Africa—led me to suspect this setting was more than just a celebrity conductor, one of the greatest, for sure, parachuted in for a night.

Indeed, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra is a product of the vision of Maestro Daniel Barenboim and Edward Said, a Palestinian intellectual. The impetus of their collaboration, I imagine, was to foster peace and transmit immutable beauty through music.

Done.

To speak colloquially, not theologically, neither Allah nor Elohim has ever inspired the transcendence of a Beethoven or a Bach. Christianity begat the glory and genius of Bach and Beethoven. They are The West, not the Woke perverts trying to drown Western glory with no more than pelvic and genital thrusts parading as music.

A sad, but inspirational, anecdote: Beethoven had composed the sublime work, the Ninth, utterly deaf.

Via Britannica:

‘According to one account of the event, the audience applauded thunderously at the conclusion of the performance, but Beethoven, unable to hear the response, continued to face the chorus and orchestra; a singer finally turned him around so that he could see evidence of the affirmation that resounded throughout the hall.’

AND that’s The West, too. Alas, it has become anathema in Neurotic Nation USA to be stoic and heroic like Beethoven.

I shall close with guidance neither fuzzy nor diffuse: Honor Western civilization, not Kanye West: Do it up, parents.

The Vandals and Huns, the Goths and Visigoths are here to stay by invitation of the American treason class ~ilana

The Stupid Party has swallowed the bait Democrats laid. Republicans are orgiastic about the Democrat-orchestrated ouster of Biden over classified documents mishandled. Where along the continuum of cretinism is the GOP currently perched?

We’re on the Mar-a-Lago vs. the Delaware classified-documents distinction, where strictly partisan, less-philosophical conservatives like Victor Davis Hansen try defensively to outline differences between the infractions of the Democrats’ guy (Biden) and our guy’s transgressions (Trump’s).

This “Trump did it right” vs. “Biden did it wrong” case is an extension of the original distraction. In fact, you don’t have to read such undignified argument—don’t—to know that it is not an argument from first principles.

Republican glee over Biden’s (almost unavoidable) mishandling of classified, “highly sensitive” state-documents, demonstrates how this lot, the GOP, is unserious about its rights-based constitutional obligations to the voters. As follows:

* Impeaching Biden for the country invaded and consequently permanently altered. The demographic tipping point has arrived, and Biden had heralded it in opening the border by presidential decree. From here on in, America will be what I term in the book Into the Cannibal’s Pot a dominant-party state.

The Vandals and Huns, the Goths and Visigoths are here to stay by invitation of the American treason class.

* Demanding day-in, day-out that the 4-5 million outlaws invited into the country illegally be rounded up and deported, and not one more penny be confiscated from taxpayers to pay for their keep and safe passage into American communities.

The overtone window alludes to a range of ideas once considered unthinkable, but now normalized. With their flaccid, crushingly stupid responses to most situations, for example the self-induced “crisis” on the south-western border—Republicans have normalized an open border, through which millions of impoverished people may flow, are flowing.

The range of responses issuing from GOP representatives consists in nauseating treacle about a “humanitarian disaster,” a “crisis,” and mumbo-jumbo about cartels-in-control: Blame the cartels for the choice made by American leaderships to shirk their constitutional duty to uphold the country’s territorial integrity.

Crap.

Habitually do Republicans misplace compassion, making brazen trespassers the repository for their empathy. Moreover, they and their megaphones in media have shifted blame from the American State, themselves include, to the Mexican crime cartels, who are merely filling a power vacuum willfully created by American elected traitors. The last are guilty as sin for centrally orchestrating the invasion of their country and outlawing any effective defensive counter-action. The first are not to blame. Criminals do what law-makers allow them to do.

* Forthwith repealing all manner of Covid restrictions, including the ban on white, unvaccinated non-citizens from vising the US.

Why do I assert that the travel ban on the unvaccinated is anti-white? Simply because the regulation stipulates that foreigners from “countries with limited COVID-19 vaccine availability” may be forgiven for entering the United States unvaccinated! Witness the south-western border. The rule banning unvaccinated non-citizens is thus a proxy for race, engineered to privilege brown and black Third Worlders and disfavor those Westerners, who, while having had the good sense to reject the kill shot, travel from countries in which the “mRNAgent Orange” is abundant.

* Besides, why is the Administrative State—the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)—legislating around our right of freedom of association, and that of our friends and trading partners? Is it not an opportune time for the GOP castrati to challenge the Managerial State’s unconstitutional usurpation of constitutional rights?

* Beating back crime and lawlessness: Clearing our cities of all homeless encampments. Homelessness in America’s once-great cities is no longer purely a local issue. When local governments legislate away the constitutional and natural rights of residents to live unmolested—it becomes a federal matter.

Empower law-enforcement to regularly raid and remove loiterers who are living rough. Likewise, let citizens defend person and property against squatters, in particular, and against a criminal class that has morphed into a constituency with representation, in general.

* Defunding all institutions that practice woke anti-whiteness starting with public schools, tertiary, secondary, primary and kindergarten. Add gender ideology. Yes, the Democrats are the party of sexual-offenders-by-proxy, of violent criminals, outlaws and scofflaws. If not by commission, however, Republicans are guilty by omission, having allowed the normalization of the unthinkable.

* Exploring the launch of Civil Rights action against any financial institution engaged in financial deplatforming of innocent individuals, based on thought crimes harbored and impolite speech spoken.

* Ceasing to bait the Russian bear, forcing a diplomatic solution on that kept man, Zelensky.

Or, given how dumb the GOP (RIP) is, just emulate what the good Governor Ron DeSantis is doing, but amplified.

WATCH us hash-out the issues further on “Steamrolled By The Abrams: Republican Cretins Swallow Classified-Doc Bait.” David Vance and your columnist offer daggers to the media-military-congressional-industrial-complex for sending their latest to Ukraine:

A previous column, “The Hell With Hunter; Call Joe In For Hearings On Treason, Cancel The Neocons While You’re At It,” ventured that, “If the GOP were seriously working for Deplorables, and not engaged in tit-for-tat political gotcha among elites—they’d pursue First Principles driven congressional oversight.” Biden would, duly, be summonsed for a hearing not about his loathsome son’s lap top and lap dancers, but on a charge of treason against the American people.

Intentionally, and as a matter of policy, Biden has left the southern border wide-open and unguarded—in effect inviting the world to invade the country, and thus flouting the law and his constitutional obligation as commander-in-chief to preserve America’s territorial integrity and protect its population’s safety.

To willfully not secure the border and enforce national security certainly seems like a treasonous offense, an impeachable high crime.

At the same time, we live in a country in which legal barriers and borders are enforced most harshly against law-abiding caucasians.

Put it this way: Were I to advise my white friends in South Africa, whom I miss more than you know, to wade into the United States via the Rio Grande—I am certain they’d be separated from their children and promptly deported. That pigment is privilege seems implicit in US immigration policy. Brown and black illegal immigrants everywhere may enter the US unimpeded, unvaccinated, their tribes in tow. Not so whites. Most of us try to follow the law, and are the worse for it.

Also, to be both white and unvaccinated—the COVID clot-shot having been transformed into an Orwellian mark of compliance—is to be blighted twice. Officially, unvaccinated non-citizens may still not enter the United States. The TSA and the DHS have decided to extend President Biden’s Proclamation banning unvaccinated non-citizens from entering the US at least until January 2023. The GOP, no surprise, is mum. It is clear this edict is not enforced against the millions of Latin Americans and other browns and blacks pouring into America from across the globe with no end in sight.

Equally dispiriting—more in need of legislator oversight than the Hunter Biden distraction—is the plight of very many Americans who’re denied access to major arteries of commerce and democratic participation having been convicted of thought crimes, for expressing impolite and impolitic ideas.

Financial de-platforming is when you are barred from banking, crowd funding or transacting, say, via PayPal. PayPal had threatened to fine any user of its banking service $2500 if that user was spreading “misinformation” or “hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance….”  After broad pushback, PayPal reversed itself and said the guidelines were published “in error.” And, JP Morgan Chase, for example, closed Kanye West’s bank account because of his remarks about certain Jews.

Financial de-platforming  teeters on violating another’s natural right to make a living. For how do you make a living if you can’t bank? Do you revert to a barter economy (a book for some bread)? Go underground? Hunker in home-based industries? Keep afloat by word of mouth? Go door-to-door? Oh, I know: Beat the tom-tom drum if your email service is severed, given that our email accounts and other server-supported facilities are currently under threat, too, with no promise of a remedy from Republican representatives.

Barring someone from PayPal is like prohibiting a passenger from crossing the English Channel by high-speed train, via ferry and by airplane. “Take a dingy, you hapless loser.” Or so the Republicans seem to be saying, to judge from their silence on the matter, and most matters other than the Hunter “Baaden”, ditto-head’s political dead-end.

Once in control of Congress, will these useless bums fire up their boilers over bleeding borders, vaccine mandates and financial and social de-platforming? I doubt it.

Eddies of passion now flow from the conservative commentariat to the Chinese locked down by their government. And for Iranian women locked behind the hijab. Iran is no great shakes. China is terrible. But how dare our “thought leaders” agitate at cyclone strength for Chinese and Iranian protesters, yet offer a collective yawn over liberty sundered at home!

Americans have endured lockdowns, still battle vaccine mandates, cannot unite with unvaccinated friends and family outside the US and are subjected to FBI raids and other Security State surveillance.

The pincer for the person bucking orthodoxy comes when, with state acquiescence, corporate thought police cancels nonconformists, publicly shames and financially ousts them. Jan. 6 protesters and other prisoners of conscience are denied their due process rights. Other than Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican from Georgia, no representatives intervene on their behalf. Libertarian activist Julian Assange is slowly being murdered by the Anglo-American axis of evil for exposing its machinations; and Americans are maimed and murdered daily by a sinecured, coddled criminal class, imported or hot-housed here at home by elected officials who reject the Sixth Commandment.

Sodom and Gomorrah.

It so happens that the real story in Iran is not the women and their nosebags—who, once in the US, become indistinguishable from our own woke witches, down to the tumbleweed hair and the banalities that tumble from their motor mouths. That’s not nosy America’s business. Rather, the real story is our successive, neoconservative administrations starving the Iranian people. If they can’t kill directly, the neocons of Foggy Bottom and DOJ, whichever party is in charge, steal from Iranians or starve ’em.

The neoconservative faction is unperturbed by the fact that Iran has been crippled economically; that 57 million live below the poverty line there because of our economic embargoes, cheered on just as vampirically by Barack Obama than by Michael Pompeo, former US secretary of state.

Under President Obama’s reign of terror abroad—the Iranian currency lost 65 percent of its value and endured a SWIFT and devastating eviction from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication.

Iranians are starving due to mandated US sanction. Millions of them go hungry. So, what does the US do to ease the suffering? Steal some more. In 2020, the DOJ confiscated oil Iranians own and were trying to sell to stay alive. “Approximately 1.116 million barrels of petroleum from four merchant tankers bound for Venezuela” were pirated by the Department of Injustice. The US has also frozen about $120 billion in Iranian assets, “frozen” being a euphemism for theft. Ask the likes of Dinesh D’Souza, and he’ll tell you in his hermetically “tight” argumentation for America The Good, that because America is good, we can steal from other nations. I hope you are unconvinced by all such non sequiturs.

Lift embargoes on Iran, and let the International Atomic Energy Agency do its job. (The IAEA is pretty good, and was spot on about Iraq!) Iran’s loud and proud ladies are their business.

Without listening to any of the other victory speeches—and without a shadow of a doubt—I’ll say that the best electoral victory address was that of Ron DeSantis, who has handily won a second term as Florida’s governor.

Tuesday noon is when David Vance and your columnist pre-record a new segment of our Hard Truth podcast. Aired on Thursdays, Tuesday’s recording saw us discuss Trump’s venal attack on marvelous Governor DeSantis. It was then that I again pledged (LinkedIn came first) my 2024 vote in support of the governor, should he run for president.

We discussed Casey DeSantis, the governor’s gorgeous, regal wife, who is nothing like Ivanka and her houseboy, Kushner. Those two will traipse right back into saboteur positions at the White House with Daddy, who has never said no to his daughter.

‘Jarvanka’: Davos Before Deplorables

As with most of my assessments; I do not need the one about Boss Lady Ivanka’s cerebral acuity confirmed. It so happens that it has been amply seconded by some top men, as recounted in “Meet The Kushners: First Couple In-Waiting“:

“It’s quite clear that President Trump’s promise to hire only ‘the best’ ought to have begun with firing The Family. Instead, Mr. Kushner’s national security portfolio [had] expanded in a manner incommensurate with his skills. It [soon included] … China, Mexico, Iraq, Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The same can be said of Ivanka, who was soon briefing the South Korean president on sanctions against North Korea. That Ivanka lacked a permanent security clearance was the least of the country’s worries, given Steve Bannon’s assessment of her: ‘as dumb as a brick.’”

In no time at all had Jared and Ivanka Trump moved to consolidate power. This, as men like Steven Bannon and Stephen Miller were either fired, or confined to the basement, so to speak. Bannon was soon just a flinty glint in Ivanka’s eyes.

Indeed, political connections ensured that the two branding experts [Jared and Ivanka] beat Braveheart Bannon of the mighty Breitbart.com! ‘The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,’ he lamented, in August of 2017.

… ‘Jarvanka’ (the Jared-Ivanka organism) were also said to have orchestrated the ousting of the last of the old MAGA Guard, John Kelly, a most excellent man [take it from me]. Kelly took his role as chief of staff seriously. He was a hardliner who limited Ivanka’s access to Pater.

One of Trump’s superb personnel choices, Kelly’s fate, however, was sealed when he stated openly how sick-and-tired he was of the first daughter ‘playing government.’ The Goldman-Sachs wing of the White House, commandeered by the Kushners, had always wished him away. So, Kelly got the boot (or, rather, the Choo), too.

Of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, archconservative intellectual Heather Mac Donald observed the following:

Sessions was ‘the only member of the Trump administration who was absolutely staunch in speaking up for the right of Americans to determine what the character of their country should be.’

It takes a strong woman (Mac Donald) to recognize a scheming one (Ivanka).

Later, Heather Mac Donald was to express ‘no confidence’ that President Trump would stop being advised by his daughter, Ivanka Trump, on the issue of immigration.”

Ivanka had also vaporized Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, a tough ice-princess who instituted the zero-tolerance policy on the border and never caved over family separation.

Nothing will change should Trump waltz back into the White House. Ivanka is “The Donald’s peculiar problem.” “What Ivanka wants Ivanka gets.” Together, Jarvanka place Davos before The Deplorables.

From Day One, I had cheered “The Trump Revolution” and in particular, “The Donald’s Creative Destruction,” both components in the title to a book, published June 29, 2016. In it, Trump was celebrated as a “political Samson that threatened to bring the den of iniquity crashing down on its patrons. … An entrenched punditocracy, a self-anointed, meritless intelligentsia, oleaginous politicians, slick media, big money: You name it; Trump was tossing and goring it.”

I supported Donald Trump until he began to make nice with some of the most malignant neoconservatives around, bombed Syria for Ivanka, approved H-1B visas, and began firing and feuding with the architects of MAGA.

DeSantis: Principled Pragmatist

In Ron DeSantis we have a man who is acutely aware of the systemic rights violations to which Deplorables are subjected and is attempting to pragmatically govern in accordance with first principles.

Let us recount some of the ways:

When Texas’ Greg Abbott “flat-out banned vaccine requirements; Florida Gov. DeSantis quickly followed suit. Rejecting the jabs-for-jobs deformed public policy, DeSantis vowed to sue the Biden administration. These two governors have been unique in upholding natural, inalienable, individual rights—the right of self-ownership and bodily dominion.

As inoptimal as DeSantis’ “Big Tech” bill was—the governor was the only Republican to have proceeded against Deep Tech in any meaningful way.

The governor was also unique among powerful men to spring into actions on behalf of the Canadian Truckers for Freedom. The Canadian Truckers converged on Ottawa, early in 2022, to reclaim their Charter rights and protest Trudeau’s anti-constitutional Covid-driven apartheid.

GoFundMe is an American crowd-funding site. It had happily collected and distributed funds to detritus like BLM (Black Lives Matter), which, by the most basic of measures, are scum of the earth. Having received $9 million dollars in donations for the Canadian truckers, GoFundMe right away announced it would steal the funds and funnel them to charities of its choosing.

Here was a crime in progress. DeSantis’s response to the GoFundMe cyber-robbery was righteous, principled and proactive. He tweeted:

“It is a fraud for Go-Fund Me to commandeer $9M in donations sent to support truckers and give it to causes of their own choosing. I will work with AG Ashley Moody to investigate these deceptive practices — these donors should be given a refund.” The thieving outfit soon backtracked pursuant to DeSantis’ show of force.

And how is it that only Gov. Ron DeSantis grasps that it’s illegal for state attorneys, whose job description is to uphold the law, to nullify the very law they are paid to enforce?

As the only elected official smart and dedicated enough to grasp and govern in accordance with first principles, DeSantis fired State Attorney Andrew Warren for “effectively nullifying Florida’s criminal law.” Unheard of. The great governor of Florida has also been steadfast in accelerating his pipeline of criminal aliens to the affluent areas of the northeast.

Service To The Citizen; Not Emotion On Twitter

A DeSantis tweet invariably concerns not his emotions, but his duties and obligations to constituents operationalized.

Contrast a typical DeSantis tweet with one put out by, say, Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert. She by no means deserves to be singled out. Her Republican colleagues are no different.

To wit, voters don’t seem to expects our Republican representatives to work for their pay, as in improve our lives. Politics being an extension of the cellphone Selfie; a good TV appearance or a “feisty” tweet is considered as good as work. Consequently, our US elected representatives think their role is to tweet their outrage. Or, rant flamboyantly on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

In any event, both the TSA and the DHS (departments established by Genghis Bush Republicans, if memory serves) have decided to extend President Biden’s Proclamation banning unvaccinated non-citizens from entering the United States at least until January of 2023.

(Naturally, if you are among the millions crossing the Rio Grande illegally into the US, are of a swarthy complexion and can produce a current, up-to-date criminal record—low scores on IQ and literacy tests help, too—you may enter America no questions asked, all expenses covered.)

Boebert tweeted her outrage over the renewed ban. The end. If she and the rest of the Republicans were working for their pay, like DeSantis, she’d have tweeted along these lines:

“The ban is an outrage. It flouts all scientific evidence, hurts Americans by hampering business and social ties with friends and family across the world. I intend to call on x, y, z in TSA, DHS as well as biz representatives; also meet with the caucus … Will keep you posted…”

That’s DeSantis style service to the citizen. That’s also the text of a working representative.

But no. Colorado Representative Boebert, and most of her colleagues, conducts herself as though she’s just a popular girl tweeting out to her Deplorable followers on social media; just an outsider to power—one of us—when our representatives are the consummate insiders.

Notice too that no TV ego in an anchor’s chair ever quizzes these representatives thus:

“What are you doing about said urgent matter? Specify the steps you are taking for the people to repeal assorted Covid tyranny,” as an example.

Laziness notwithstanding, I suspect that the intellectual quality of our representatives and the voters has so degraded—that neither voter nor candidate knows the channels and ropes through which action is to be taken to rectify wrongs.

Not so Ron DeSantis. Both effective and highly intelligent, the man understands the federal scheme and knows how to pull the levers of power, having faithfully and forcefully done so for the people of Florida. Such an intellectual grasp evades Trump. Moreover, a vote for Trump in 2024 is a vote for the Jarvanka organism, or familial mutations of it. The family will be back in the People’s House, minus the MAGA agenda.

Thursday’s Hard Truth podcast with David Vance and your columnist further discusses DeSantis’ unique gifts vs. Trump’s.
